Gun Fighting: Queen of All Trades
Fighting Style: Gun Fighting: Queen of All Trades
Weapon Utilization: Firearms
Description: Queen of All Trades is the name of Blair's style of fighting with firearms. As a sharpshooter, Blair is quite proficient with any firearm she has been able to get her hands on. Of course, she has been trained in the use of most all firearms, and even blades. But Blair herself has a rather..unique take on her training. Instead of utilizing any kind of bladed weapon, Blair emphasizes the use of guns of all kinds, be it in close range or at the actual range that the weapons are to be used at. Revolvers, Shotguns, Rifles..all kinds of firearms are used by Blair as either blunt instruments up close, or as the firearms that they were intended to be. The reasoning behind this path of combat is simple.
Blair was never the best at physical combat. But with firearms, she excelled rather heavily. In fact, she excels with them to the point of able to use guns at ranges that should normally not be possible..at least, not with any real accuracy. And yet, she uses them at excessive range, somehow managing accurate shots, albeit while also taking a bit of extra damage should someone manage to hit her back. Of course, as is the case with all marines who utilize guns over other methods of combat, Blair is well versed in the chemistry of gunpowder, along with the creation of bullets of various kinds.
But what about when someone is too close for guns to be effective? Well, while Blair isn't the best with blades, she is rather well versed at using her weapons as clubs of various kinds, having a great deal of dexterity, even going so far as to use some of the functions of her weapons to her advantage, such as the break feature of her shotgun in order to create an attack that can attack from both the front and behind. Generally speaking, Blair is more than a Jack of All Trades when it comes to firearms. If anything, her old crew referred to her as the 'Queen of All Trades' when it came to firearms. Taking the title in stride, she has named her combat style as such.
Toggled and Passive Abilities:
Toggled Ability: 「Queen's Focus」: The hallmark of Blair's exceptional ability with firearms. When toggled, Queen's Focus allows the next technique that Blair utilizes to have the base maximum range of a technique from the next 'level'. So for example, a technique that was unlocked by level one that is affected by this ability would have the maximum range of a technique unlocked at level five. Sadly, this cannot be applied to AoE techniques. Unfortunately, this high level of focus comes with a drawback. When this ability is toggled, Blair will face a 20% defense debuff against the next attack that connects with her, regardless of how long it has been 'off'.

Unfortunately for those people, The Many is a very odd duck when it comes to weapons, given its basis as a revolver style shotgun. This makes it able to hold both slugs and shells simultaneously. Mix and Match abuses this quite heavily. Using this technique, Blair pulls the trigger twice, with the first shot sending out a slug. However, the second shot does not send out another slug. Instead, it fires off a shell, causing a narrow spray of pellets to follow the slug, with the aim being to catch the opponent off guard.

Description: One of the few special shells for Blair's shotgun, The Many's Flash Shell is perhaps the simplest of them all. When fired, the shell ejects not a stream of pellets, but a paper casing which breaks apart after a few moments of flight, causing a series of chemicals that the casing was soaked in and the powders stored within it to have a sudden chemical reaction, causing a blindingly bright flash, disorienting anyone who looks directly at it.

Description: When it comes to covering an area, the only weapon that beats a shotgun is an explosive. However, Blair does not use explosives. So instead, she relies on The Many, her revolver style shotgun. Taking a page from her Full Tilt attack, Blair brandishes The Many in one hand and pulls the trigger a grand total of six times, using the recoil from the shot to adjust her aim to a different spot before firing again. Of course, this inevitably requires her to constantly adjust her footing as she whirls around to follow the recoil of the shot and fire in a new direction, allowing her to cover as much area as possible in a veritable onslaught of pellets.

Description: Perhaps the most odd technique in Blair's repertoire, Arcanum Strike does not directly utilize any of Blair's firearms. Instead, it uses her navigational skills. Pulling a Den Den Mushi out of her bag, Blair calls in to the gunnery staff of the Arcanum Arcanorum, proceeding to give them a series of coordinates before hanging up. Upon hanging up, one will hear the sounds of cannon going off. The true nature of this technique is revealed soon after the first sound is heard, as cannon fire rains down upon the area!
