Blair's Arsenal Empty Blair's Arsenal

This post has in-line assessment comments.Sat Jul 27, 2019 1:14 am

Blair Cairistine's Equipment

Character Name: Blair Cairistine

Number of Equipment Pieces: 3
Highest tiered equipment: 1
Total Equipment Stat Points: 15

Equipment Name: Law and Order
Equipment Type: Paired Revolvers
Equipment Tier: 1
Equipment Stats: +5 Defense

Equipment Description: Law and Order are the names that Blair has given to the two weapons that she has had ever since finishing her training as a Marine. These weapons are a pair of weapons that are described as being a baseline of .45 caliber flintlock revolvers. However, each gun features a swing out cylinder that locks at both ends, meaning that Blair could very easily use larger caliber rounds, should she need to. These weapons are very simple, taking on the standard appearance of most any Flintlock Revolver that one would find. The only thing that makes them truly unique is the number of rounds in each cartridge. Rather than the baseline six rounds, Law and Order each hold seven rounds, making them very useful for a sharpshooter such as Blair for use in close to mid ranged combat.

Equipment Name: The Few
Equipment Type: Rifle
Equipment Tier: 1
Equipment Stats: +5 Reflex

Equipment Description: The Few and The Many are the names that Blair has given to her 'cut' of the spoils that her old crew retrieved from their mission in Loguetown. The Few is her long ranged rifle. Like many typical rifles, it is a weapon that utilizes a single barrel, and has a full stock for use at range. However, this is where the commonalities stop. Unlike most common rifles, The Few's stock features a very deep curve at the base, allowing it to be more snugly nestled up against one's shoulder. It also features a front sight ring, enabling more accurate shots. According to Blair, this weapon can easily be modified by anyone with even minor technical knowhow. Strangely enough, it seems to be the only weapon in Blair's Arsenal that does not utilize the revolver style of operation.

Equipment Name: The Many
Equipment Type: Shotgun
Equipment Tier: 1
Equipment Stats: +5 Attack

Equipment Description: The Many is easily considered to be the other side of the coin when it comes to the weapons that she gained from the Loguetown mission. Where The Few is a rifle focused on taking out single targets, The Many is the opposite by virtue of what it is: a shotgun. Even so, it is a very odd duck in terms of shotguns. Rather than utilizing the Break, Pump, or Lever Actions in its firing mechanism, it takes a page from pistols, of all things.

The Many is a shotgun characterized by its Revolver Action firing mechanism--something which has made it a favorite of Blair's, even when most of her contemporaries raise their eyebrows at such a thing. Like most typical shotguns however, The Many reloads using the typical 'break loading' mechanic, instead of the loading mechanism that is present in Law and Order--where the cylinder swings out to the side. As such, it is very much an odd duck. However, none can argue that it is an effective take on a shotgun, in spite of its odd appearance.

The Many holds up to six rounds of 16-Gauge shells or slugs. The shells used in The Many fire in a surprisingly narrow spread, lessening the typical collateral damage one would expect from this weapon. As such, The Many is by far and away Blair's go to weapon when it comes to true close range encounters, or covering an area.
