Those are the best words to discribe the mess that is Mara's personality, many traumatic experiences shattered her mind, making her becoming a rollercoaster of emotions on the inside while remaining undisturbed on the outside. During battle she is simply ruthless, doing whatever possible to dispatch the enemy as soon as possible, being calm about it unless she has something against her opponent.

- Born in a science laboratory department, daughter of one of the slaves that the Celestial Dragons were using as a test subjects, she and dozens of other newborns were called "the devil genaration" because they would be subjects of experimentation on Devil fruit development capabilities. They wanted to know if user growth, education and training since infancy would change the development of the devil fruit powers . Each one of them had a different type of diet, education, training and a few of them even got to enjoy normal life for a while, Mara was not one of them, she got the worst because at first they didn't saw what her fruit could do, all of the subjects ate their fruit at the age of 4 and she didn't show any signs of her powers until the age of 7, where they had her locked up and tortured for hours non-stop, the pain did not make her use her powers, but her own blood did. Chi chi no Mi is the devil fruit that allows her to control blood that is outside of a body, using it to kill the torturers inside of the room by making her blood into small floating blades. During the experiments they also found her a usable source of blood since she produced a lot of blood due to her Devil fruit and was of universal type, supplying lots of Marine hospitals, of course that no one ever knew where it came from.
Her only friend was Vice-Admiral Solove Rosen, he was in charge of security in the research facility (that was a huge metal clad naval base) and took pity on the girl, entering her empty cell and talking to her, even removing her shackles and put holes in her iron helmet, allowing her to see what was happening most of the times and showering her with wooden dolls and small metal action figures that unfortunately got destroyed each time they came into her cell to take her out to a training or torture room. Solove was even a father figure to her, calling her Mara instead of Subject 05 and was the only person that she could trust, she rarely said a word to him but appreciated his company nonetheless, her bad experiences had broken her mind too much to be able to handle even basic social talks and nor was she used to it, just using noises with the closed mouth to comunicate sometimes. He was a skilled metal and wood worker, serving for years as a shipwright and did some blacksmith job too, sometimes he smuggled her out of her cell to show her around his most advanced ships and taught her about repairs and metal working, those were her most found memories.
The worst part came when she was set up in a fight to the death against other subjects each week after she turned eleventh, not all of them were test subjects, some were dangerous criminals or animals but she didn't care for any of them, she grew with bad man and the only good person in her world was Solove, she killed all of them without losing a night of sleep, she didn't enjoy killing but didn't hate it either, using powerful techniques with her devil fruit to finish up her opponents as soon as the fight started and when they were too strong for her she let them bleed her first, gaining the title of "Vampire" by using her oppoents blood and her own blood as a weapon. Before her scheduled battle with Subject 02, Solove took her out for a ship lesson but it was just a guise, he left her at a ship that was full of concealed Revolutionaries that he had hidden in the base, revealing to be a spy and begging her to obey any command they might give her and to be a good girl, at his last moment he called her daughter and gave her a hug before staying behind to make sure that no Marine would follow her.
During her time at the revolutionary army she mostly stood there obeying every command with a deadpan expression and doing nothing out of the extraordinary, she would never forget what Solove did for her and feels that the only way to repay his sacrifice is working with the agents, they learned that the entire base was sabotaged and exploded with all the subjects and marines dying in it, of course the goverment covered the incident and everything that happened there, but she knew the truth and that was actually in her favor, no one knew that survived.

In any case, I'm approving the bio but please keep in mind that this is only because you weren't too specific with names of people and places when referring to those world-altering claims of Celestial Dragons doing those specific experiments.
