Flirting is one of the ways she likes teasing her friends mostly and a few other people she finds attractive but its never with romantic intentions, she just likes seeing other people react to it. She doesn't approve of unjustified bad acts and also dogs, she hates dogs.
During combat she still likes to have fun and enjoys tough and close fights, preferring to go hand-to-hand with her foe while focusing on using her agility, she is known to laugh during combat and to play around with her enemy if she feels that he isn't putting up a fight. Preferring to go one on one and killing her enemy only as a last resource, she's not quick to anger.

- Mars never knew her parents or at least doesn't remember them, she lived in the tropical forest part of the town on a small wooden shack, some fishers say that the girl fell from a ship when she was a toddler. Not being raised by real or fake parents, she grew used to not having any rules and seeing the world as one big playground, being a child she was pitied by some nearby villagers that helped her with food and basic teachings, they only grew tired of her when she started doing pranks and causing problem around, they mostly tolerated her enough that they didn't care to report her to the Marines. Having to live on her own she learned the basics about defending herself and cooking, becoming quite fond of every type of food that she could get her hands on, being a simple fruit in the woods or a rare fish in the kitchen's, finding work on a local restaurant, she was a pretty good chef and that's why they never fired her, even a few high ranking marines offered her a position to work on their ships thanks to her good cooking, but they changed idea after learning about her drafty nature.
A large fleet of pirates planned on attacking Baterilla and since they couldn't defeat the Marines, they planned to make a large diversion force that drew the Marines into a sea battle while the others sneaked into the heart of the island and tried to raid as many villages as they could. Mars was climbing the lighthouse to see the battle far away when she saw the signal that the watchmen gave as the pirates rushed to the town, she rushed to aid the defense of the village and before they could reach it she used her knowledge of the terrain to lay various traps and diversions, giving enough time so that the Marines could fall back to the Island and deal with the pirates there. As a reweard for her service they offered her a pardon for all the trouble that she caused around town and a position as a Marine, wich she accepted hoping that she could explore the world during her duty.
