Chapter One: The Pawed Clown and The Human Bomb Meet the Four Heroes - Welcome to Wonderland?

“To name that man a hero… I’ve never seen Ilusia in such desperate of times.” Thalassa Lucas state, calmly pulling at his beard. “Five long years, Thalassa. No, I’ve been scheming much longer to erase that man’s existence from this Kingdom. Systematically murdering all of those corrupt nobles and anyone who shared his-” Leonardo said passionately, only to be silence by Thalassa. “Those are not the words a young King such as yourself should be speaking so boldly.” Thalassa said sternly, resting his hand on Leonardo's shoulder as he exited the King’s Chambers. “Robert Cofresi was no more of a hero than ‘he’ was. However, Robert’s persecution represented a severe injustice that left a bitter stain in the people’s mouths. I’ve created heroes the people can believe in, they don’t need to remember neither of those monsters.” Leonardo concluded as Thalassa closed the chamber doors. "Besides you know what they say, the enemy of my neighbour, is my friend." Leonardo added before the man left.

Leonardo was a handsome man, it was the combination of his gentle smile and his swift persecution of the IV King of Ilusia, that rose him to the position of V. Along with the political sway from Thalassa, Third King of Ilusia, he erased in a scarce amount of time scourge of the IV’s injustices. Sitting in his patio, overlooking the Castle’s courtyard, from his room, he could see the hustle and bustle from the local merchants. Smiling quaintly, he sipped his tea commenting on the common man’s actions, “Not to long ago that was you down there, mama.” Leonardo thought smiling. Leonardo’s comments to Thalassa couldn’t be more true either, in once again strengthen his ties with the World Government, he was able to source Four Marine Captain Rookies, who were making their names known in the West Blue to become Generals in the Ilusia Royal Army, these marines would be known as the ‘Heroes of New’, cleaning up the Royal Family’s injustices from the past legislation. Each of them ruled a district within the city, Roxanne, the Silver Haired Vixen owned the local merchant district and casino. Uxio, owned the port, a master shipwright whose innovative designs had revolutionized the shipping industry in the West Blue. The final two heroes, Ves and Eternia, jointly ruled over the overall operations within the city, whether it be taxes, crimes or prosecutions. With the marine support from the 45th Branch, newly established in Ilusia, peace and more importantly balance was restored to the Ilusia Kingdom.

However, the brighter the light shines, the darker the shadow. “Hey. You wouldn’t mind explaining to me what’s this tiny little infraction on my bill, huh hun?” Roxanne inquired.The mammoth of a woman, standing at 6’3 leaned over placing her face in front of the deformed merchant’s face. The deformity, stemming from the use of the woman’s Devil Fruit ability, “Please Roxy, listen to me! I wouldn't ever steal from you! The last shipment just costed a little bit more than estimated-” the merchant’s words were silenced by a single gunshot into the ceiling, as her second pistol’s barrel now existed within the confinements of the man’s mouth. “Now look sugar… I’m not about making grown men grovel. It’s pathetic honestly, but when I make a deal, I expect it to be completed. It’s already illegal, your putting my integrity as a marine and a good business woman at jeopardy… that ship you lost costs over 10,000,000 Million Beli. If Ves finds out about this it’ll come outta my paycheque, you see my frustration now?” the woman said sighing. “What’d the idiot who stole my ship look like!?” Roxanne asked. “Well ma’am…” the merchant uttered averting his eyes. “Spit it out.” Roxanne replied harshly. “He was dressed as a clown.” the man stated with immense fear.

“This is one hell of a ship kid!? Where did you get something with such rare wood!? The bacteria in the wood cause’ it to glow pretty during the night too!” Uxio said, smiling shining his goal teeth. “I’m brokering it for an old friend of mine. He asked me to help him sell it since he wasn’t familiar with the area.” the man responded with the sound of his words slightly muffled from the white mask he wore. “Well whatever ya’, It’s a nice ship. You want me to make some modification right, it’s a pretty spacious Barque too. What’ll call her!?” Uxio said, patting the man on his back violently. Uxio was an overly friendly old man, well, he was only twenty-two but he aged so terribly, he looked like an old man, his jet black hair was already turning gray. “Crimson Joker. I was going to go with BloodyWonderfulSpectacularNakamaland but I thought the name was too long, thoughts?” the masked man inquired, leaning his head to the side in confusion. “Woah… this kids weird.” the man thought to himself. “Ugh… Yeah… Right. Kids these days. Whatever makes ya' happy I guess.” Uxio responded. “You’re not that much older than him!” his shipwright co-workers chimed in. “Anyway. It’ll take five days to fix this ship up for ya’ friend. What’s the name and where can I contact you when the works done, oh, it’s 250,000 Beli up front by the way before any work starts.” Uxio concluded. “Name’s… Caesa- I mean, C. C Clown. The money’s on the deck in a black chest, here’s the key.” Caesar said, almost revealing his identity, clearing his throat in nervousness at the lame nature of his fake name, tossing the man the key. However, Uxio ate it all up. “Alrighty! Men we have work to do! Hustle!” Uxio exclaimed.

The merchant’s eyes were bruised severely as he now laid on the floor unconscious. Flicking her silver hair in the wind, Roxanne opened the doors of the abandoned harbour container she did her interrogation in. Cracking her neck, she jumped off the platform in front of the contain, walking towards her carriage. The woman’s supple pale skin, well-sculpted body and fierce bushy eyebrows, made men both fear and admire her. Her heart only belonged to one man. Standing in front of the carriage, was a man around 6’2, short crimson hair, with blood red dyed tips of it’s spiky nature. Blushing and with much force reluctance, “You didn’t have to come and pick me up, Ves.” Roxanne uttered.

Sora was gliding through the waves heading towards Ilusia, she had a sack over her shoulder. The girl was using her devil fruit powers blasting into the floor of her raft, to head towards the island. She was heading there because Ilusia had some of the best sake she had ever had that was from West Blue. The girl yawned, as she made constant bursts of her power into the special mechanism that thrust her vessel forward, by providing forward thrust through the waves. It was something that she had made due to she liking to invent things. Using only wind power, got old fast.

She was one of the only people able to get away with what she was doing due to her having a lot of somewhat long range techniques, that she could use to attack people that were chasing her or just fight someone for their ship or whatever she needed to do with it. But while she prefered to fight, she did not want to fight with a huge risk to her life as accidentally falling into the ocean. Leaning slightly to the right, the raft would start to head towards that direction. It was extremely aerodynamic while it rushed forward. The girl liked her raft, the Sea's Rancor it was called. It was her baby, even if she did not make the raft herself.

The device for the thrust was her design, and she had it installed into it on Water 7, a few years beforehand. Too bad for the girl, the parts she needed to fix the engine could only be found on Water 7, so if she needed a part she'd have to head to Water 7 on a ship in order to get the part to repair it. As she was pulling up to a dock, a part malfunctions in the device. A large boom could be heard in the palace from the malfunction. Smoke started to rise from the raft as the white haired girl jumped off of it. Swiping at the air she coughed and tried to clear the air of the smoke. 'Shit! I have to get to Water 7 somehow,' she thought while the smoke started to thin out.

Well, her transportation was fried. Sora wondered which part it was, but it was more than likely the regulator due to the huge boom that was heard from the raft. Tying the raft to the dock, the girl wanted to just get the Sake, and hire a crew to take her to Water 7 with her raft and get the part. She briefly wondered who she could hire to get her to the great shipwright island. Heading towards port authority, she knew that she had to register the raft and pay the docking fee and other legal stuff.

The girl did not notice the clown getting his ship modified by some of the workers on the dock, if she did she would've either ran or fainted from her being afraid of clowns. On her ninth birthday, or what was celebrated as her birthday due to it being the day that Gray took her in, Gray invited Oga's crew to the ship in order to surprise the girl with a huge birthday party. Oga had the idea to surprise the girl, by dressing up like a clown, with makeup and everything. He snuck into her room, making himself completely silent with his devil fruit.

What ensued afterwards, was the man awakening the girl with a air horn like sound. The girl bolted awake, and saw what appeared to be a demon clown. The girl's mind was afoot with horror, and did one of the only things that she could do. She ran from Oga while screaming bloody murder. She locked herself in Gray's room, and refused to come out from under the covers of his bed for the entire day.

The girl shivered slightly, it was if her old enemy the clown was nearby. She did not want to look just in case her feeling was correct. The girl paid her fees, and headed towards the market in order to waste some of her beli on some booze and a hotel room. Tomorrow would be the day where she would attempt to find a ride to Water 7.

“I heard from Eternia-chan you lost the ship!” Ves started chuckling with tears entering his eyes from amusement. “S-S-Stop it! Gosh! Why would Nee-san tell you about that anyway!?” Roxanne’s cold demeanor always shrunk when she was around Ves. “I thought you’d be angry about us losing that ship.” Roxanne sighed, laughing nervously. “I am angry silly.” Ves said, maintaining an nonchalant grin. “I’m actually so pissed that all I can do is laugh right now, Roxanne.” Ves said, his mood changing drastically. “I knew it.” Roxanne said, averting her eyes from Ves. “That ship” Ves said angrily. Roxanne shivered, she knew how Ves got when he goes on one of his temper tantrum outbursts. “Had my favorite snacks from the North Blue on it! Snow Cookies! You can’t get them anywhere out here man!” Ves exclaimed pouting out his cheeks. “Idiot!” Roxanne said slapping Ves in his face, sending him spinning. “Ouchie.” Ves said grinning. “All jokes aside though Roxy, who stole our ship?” Ves inquired, his cheerful default grin altered into a smug demeanor. “Apparently it was a clown. Someone who's walking around in full clown attire.” Roxanne reported sharply. “Ughhh I hate clowns. There always so creepy. It’s like there peering into your soul. With that creepy smile and beady eyes” Ves said, tilting his head to the side slightly squinting his eyes. “Oh well. If he’s brave enough to walk around like that, I’ll find him in no time.” Ves sighed replying. “He better not be a snack eating clown either.” Ves said grinning once again, laughing creepily slamming his fist into his palm. “You can be so weird at times, Ves.” Roxanne said blushing lightly.

Stuffing the cookies beneath the mask, Caesar concluded his conversation with Uxio, deciding to head towards the town to see on the updates within Ilusia since his exile a few months prior. As such, it was necessary that he wore his mask at all times during his time within the city. A few meters ahead of him was a shorty with white hair, Caesar remember seeing her enter the dock, talking to other shipwrights within the building about something or the other. From that distance, he was none the wiser to her reasoning for entering the port. The jingling sound of the bells on Caesar’s hat shook in the wind from the high breeze, finishing off the box of Snow Cookies, Caesar figured since both the woman and him were on the same path to the market, maybe they could walk together. Weird looking or not, who hates clowns? The teen thought.

Sora walked towards the market hellbent on drinking away her sorrows in the safety of a hotel room, as the hairs on the back of her neck started to stand on end. Someone was following her, not looking behind herself the girl activated her kenbunshoku haki in order to sense who or what it was. The aura was unfamiliar to her, of course it was. She didn't know anyone on Ilusia, and everyone that she knew that she did not kill personally were either dead by the Marines, or within Brand E. Oga's pirate crew.

That's right, she had destroyed the town of her birth. She did not personally kill anyone there, but they died by falling debris. The Marines did not know it was her, due to her destroying everything in the town and making damn sure no one survived the massacre. The Marines thought it was someone with the fire logia due to the burned wood and the fact that there was no snow on the ground.

Hearing a jingle behind her, her body unconsciously stiffened. Her face blanched, as she turned around to look to see who was behind her. It was a clown, it was a god damned clown! Her brain crashed, her sixth sense of clowns was on the frizz and it was trying to reboot. As soon as it did a second later, the girl's eyes rolled up into her skull before the supernova collapsed from fright. It seemed as though the shock and fright from the clown behind her caused her to faint, she didn't even have the time to make even a small meep. Foam started to flow from her mouth.

Fainted. The small girl literally passed out after looking in Caesar’s direction. Stooping down in despair for a slight moment, Caesar began to run his finger through the dirt. “She didn’t even… Is it my clothes, I know I haven’t showered in a while but… or maybe… Am I just that creepy looking? But I had on a mask…” Caesar’s conclusion struck home. “Damn it!” Caesar rushed over to the woman who’d passed out in the middle of the road. “She’s foaming from her mouth, this is pretty serious! I need to get her help!” Caesar exclaimed. Taking off his mask, gripping the girl tightly in his arms. “Hang on tight young lady.” Caesar said. Pulling off his right Cross patterned glove, stuffing it into his pocket, Caesar used the abilities of his Paw Paw Fruit, to jump through several meters at a time until they made it to the city. Avoiding main street roads, Caesar advanced into the downtown Dojo, which belonged to an old medicine doctor, he and his master stayed at. Tapping his body once again, with girl firmly in hand, Caesar rested the girl down in the Dojo’s training room, popping about the house for a futon. Taking off his jacket from the humidity and his hat, Caesar was simply left in his armhole shirt with the face of the joker insignia found on playing cards, and his black and red checkered pants. Laying out the futon, Caesar tucked the young lady in tightly, wiping away the foam from her mouth with a cloth dampened from water he’d procured from the nearby stand pipe. Dashing into the room, an old lady closed the distance between Caesar and herself in an instance. On guard ready at to attack, he turned around and it was old lady Jiji. “Put your Paw away Cub.” Jiji scolded Caesar. “Shesh. You break into an old lady’s house and then try to fight back when she’s so old and fragile.” Jiji said, crying crocodile tears. Caesar’s tensed demeanor dropped and he relaxed, for the first time being back in Ilusia, he smiled. “I’m glad to see your well, Ji-chan.” Caesar said smiling. “What am I, your Grandma boy, Ji-onee-san is fine.” the woman said, hating to be reminded about her age. However, as scornful as she appeared, she was definitely glad to see Caesar again. “Please help her! She just passed out in the middle of nowhere.” Caesar exclaimed.

Jiji examined the child’s body, exiting the room, she walked over to the steps where Caesar was now sitting. “Aside from various scars tattered across her body, she’s fine. However, none of them seem to be the cause since their old in nature. But Caesar… tell me.” the old woman said staring at Caesar intently. “I didn’t take you for the little girl type. I guess kids these days take em’ when they're ripe huh?” Jiji said grinning perversely. “It’s okay though, when your mother was 14 your dad used to court-” Caesar muffled the old woman’s words with a stray cloth he used for magic tricks. “I don’t want to know.” Caesar exclaimed. Returning to her bedside, the two continued their conversation. “She’ll be fine. She just experience immense shock it seems. Her eyes were rolled all the way to the back of her head. What exactly did this girl see?” Jiji commented. Sulking in the corner of the room, “I don’t know… Who cares anyway!?” Caesar exclaimed. Digging into his trick bag, Caesar pulled out some face paint and drew two circles around the child’s eyes, sticking out his tongue. “You're so petty.” Jiji said, the woman commented after Caesar had went on to explain how she fainted. “Who faints by looking at someone, that’s rude!” Caesar exclaimed. Just then, Caesar stomach rumbled in hunger.

Returning to 45th Branch, reports of Caesar’s appearance in the downtown marketing district had already reached. “The old abandon housing districts… The only people that live in that area are old geezers and crooked merchants. That’s your domain turf, Roxanne. I expect you to deliver me this man in good condition. Don’t mess him up too much with your cooties.” Ves said playfully. “They are not cooties! It’s a chemical thing okay!? It’s not my fault I ate the Devil Fruit! If you hadn’t scared me all those nights back at the bootcamp it’d still be able to swim. You scared me when you came into the kitchen late and then I scarfed it down.” Roxanne said puffing out her cheeks in anger. Ves simply whistled and ignored her, “Hey! Look at it this way! Since you couldn’t swim anymore, I became the top swimmer in our class!” Ves said grinning his teeth widely. Exiting the building, Roxanne stormed towards the downtown district. Back in the office, Ves with his face all deformed from Roxanne’s ability, stared at the ceiling as his swollen eye began to shrink. “Her Koso Koso No Mi is truly frightening… She’s a living walking enzyme. By disrupting the Enzymes in people’s pores she can cause a series of ailments, The Silver Witch Vixen, Roxanne. Please do be careful Clown-kun. I need you alive for the show.” Ves said smiling.

As the girl was passed out without any explanation about what frightened her so, she was brought to the old woman. As soon as she was placed on the futon, she started to dream. After a few minutes of dreaming, the girl started to slowly toss and turn. It seemed as though her dreams were in actuality nightmares. Sora started to mumble about demon clowns of death and terror, that the occupants in the room could plainly hear. It would make sense for her to faint after seeing the man known as Caesar due to him looking exactly like a clown when she saw him.

After a few minutes of him drawing on her face, she sat up suddenly with a pair of wide eyes. "Demon clowns!" She had exclaimed suddenly, before looking around. She was in a old house, that she had never seen before. It looked like something from a old comic strip she use to read in the newspaper when she was a kid. The occupants of the room should realize that she had fainted so suddenly because she is deathly afraid of clowns. It didn't have anything to do with Caesar aside from how he dressed and acted.

Her fear of clowns ran deep in her psyche, and it has lasted for years. If he revealed that he was the clown at that moment, she would faint again, or scream and run away. She looked at her arms and saw that she was redressed in some sort of white gown. The old woman must of redressed her after taking her clothing off to examine her body. 'Must be a doctor,' the girl thought while still wondering why she was there and if the man in the room took advantage of her unconscious body.

"Where am I?" The white haired girl asked while squinting at the man in acquisition. Her clown senses were tingling, maybe this man was the clown that made her pass out. But that couldn't be the case, because he didn't have maggots crawling just under his skin, nor was his tongue forked, or did he have horns on his forehead and dead beady little red eyes that saw straight into your soul. Neither did the man have pointy teeth that were made for ripping flesh and eating souls.

Maybe her fear of clowns altered her perspective of the reality of the fearsome clown? Who knew? The girl at that moment just wanted to know where she was, and if she could leave. She didn't have time to play around with a couple of civilians that she would kill if they didn't allow her to leave when she wanted to do so. She had no qualms about killing, she would do it on a whim if she had to. The girl was just waiting for the right moment to do so.

“Hungry Brat!? I got some chowder on the stove?” Jiji inquired smiling. Just then,the expression the girl made when she asked where she was with those two yellow and black circles Caesar had drawn on her with face paint was so priceless that the man burst out in laughter. “Rishi Rishi Rishi Rishi” the man exclaimed, rolling around in merriment. Sitting up, the man wiped the tears from his eyes and pointed towards the basin of water as signal for the girl to check her face. Tossing her a clean towel from the pile that Jiji had brought into the room. “Okay. I’ve had my fun.” Caesar said wiping away his tears. “You passed out in the middle of the street on your way to the market. For whatever reason it was, if I startled you, I apologize. Right now you’re in a place called Nomad District within Ilusia, it’s pretty much the abandoned slums. The only people who live in this area is Jiji and a few other oldies who won’t give up their land.” Caesar explained. “I brought you here after you passed out. She’s isn’t good for much but the old lady inspected you to make sure you’re okay.” Caesar concluded. “Girl… I know the world is a cruel place but mind if this old lady ask where you got such severe scarring?” Jiji inquired. Picking up his jacket and clown hat, “Don't go asking her personal stuff like that in front of strangers, Ji-chan. I’m going in town for a bite to eat old lady! You can give my share to Snowflake-chan. I’ve never seen anyone with white hair before, it suits you.” Caesar said, exiting the dojo. “If I scare her, there’s no need continuing this conversation. I’ve been neglected and scorned my whole life, Rishi Rishi, today won’t be any different.” Caesar thought to himself, clutching onto his jacket as he jumped down off the dojo’s platform. Freezing once he made it into the yard, Caesar shortly panicked. “Crap.” Caesar thought. He had dropped his mask on the outskirts of town, his main way of concealing his identity was now brought to an abrupt cancellation.

From the outskirts of the dojo, an unfamiliar sound could be heard on the outskirts of the dojo walls. Focusing with his Kenbunshoku, Caesar had sensed the footsteps of ten, no over two dozen men or so scouring the streets. “If they’re that many, someone must have really pissed off whoever their boss is.” Caesar stated. “Search every abandon house! Every nook and cranny! Our target is the clown! He’s been reported in the area, there’s no way he can escape now that I’ve sealed off all the Districts exits.” Roxanne exclaimed to rally her men. Pressing his back against the dojo’s walls, he heard the woman’s proclamation. “I was trying to avoid conflict for awhile. It hasn’t even been a day yet.” Caesar thought sighing.

The girl examined her surroundings before seeing the bowl of water, taking it she was about to drink from it when she saw the paint on her face. Rinsing it off she took the towel offered by the man. She did not want to trust these people even if they did help her when she collapsed. The girl's stomach rumbled loudly, and she supposed she could have a bowl or two or three of soup before she left. "Not everyone grows up with a family. Let's leave it at that, and I would like to have some soup ma'am," she said not wanting to upset the woman and not get the free food that she offered.

Sensing hostile intent outside the property, Sora stood suddenly. "Where are my clothes and the armor I had on my forearms?" She asked the old woman suddenly. She make not like people, but it did not mean she didn't pay people back for their kindness. She may be stoic and apathetic towards the struggles of other people, but she would not let someone that helped her or will help her get hurt because of something she may of done or someone else has done.

She clenched her right fist while closing her eyes to see where the people were and how many there were of the people. They were just outside the dojo and there were over two dozen people. Cracking her knuckles slightly, the girl waited until the old woman got her her clothing and armor so she could defend herself adequately. She could do so anyways without needing her clothing and the armor that she had on, but she liked being comfortable when she's bashing in faces and other things. Walking to the door, she looked out at the wall. It was around 20 meters away from the building she was in. The people were on the other side at around thirty meters away. "Get my clothing and armor please," she told the old woman before walking forward. She left the woman to go get her stuff.

Standing a few feet away from the clown that she did not know was a clown, she continued to push out her kenbunshoku senses to keep track of the people outside of the complex. She heard the woman's words, and it seemed as though the man that was going to help her, help him, help each other to escape the island. "We will need to work together in order to escape this island, unless you want to fight those men and women. If that's the case, my name is Sora. Let's start some hell," she said, in a hushed tone, before sticking her finger straight into her nose. The people outside of the walls, were only 20 meters away from her. Pulling out a booger wad, she waited for him to confirm his intentions for escape or stay there.

“Why is she picking her nose…?” Caesar thought to himself sensing his surroundings, he knew this situation was quickly begotten attention he had no interest of bringing towards himself. “Sora is it? Names’ Caesar J. Cofresi. If you want to get off this island, it’ll take exactly five days for my ship to be finished. Though, I kind of need a navigator but I’m sure I can convince someone into chartering us, hopefully.” Caesar said, scratching his head pondering about his need for navigation. “However, I can’t have my location being discovered so easily in the future.” Caesar thought to himself. “Meaning.” Caesar concluded, placing his hand on the woman’s shoulder, Caesar once again removed his Cross Gloves, the fabric of which was embroidered with a cross stitching. Tapping his hand on his chest, Caesar repelled both him and Sora into the centre of the enemy's formation. “Oops.” Caesar exclaimed. “That attire… I know that face as well.” Roxanne exclaimed with great frustration. “Eh… Are you the culprit who stole a ship from my cutie of a slave?” Roxanne inquired. “If I said no, would you believe me?” Caesar responded. “Knowing your track record… No. With that style of dress, the reports of you being sited in this area and also the location of the Abandoned District being literally a few minutes travel from the dock, leads me to believe you are indeed the Clown who stole my ship.” Roxanne concluded. “Aren’t we the little detective but with no evidence isn’t that a bit of a stretch?” Caesar rebuttal.

Caesar and Sora’s position was now in the heart of the marines formation, who shifted their positions, after being startled from their almost magical type appearance. “Maybe. However even if my hypothesis is wrong… I have another reason to chase you, don’t I? Caesar J. Cofresi, The Burgundy Clown, the man with 200,000,000 Million resting up top that pretty little head of yours?” Roxanne stated with playful grin on her face. “I forgot I wasn’t wearing my mask anymore. Rishi Rishi. Well since you know who I am? You understand you public servants are out of your league right?” Caesar said, scratching the area of his eye under his eyepatch. Roxanne took great offence to that statement, drawing her pistols from her waist, she firmly pointed the right handed pistol directly at Caesar’s head, standing only a mere ten meters away from the Clown. With her marksman skills, it was an easy shot to make as well. “Men. Don’t panic because of this man’s status in the world. A criminal is a criminal. And some-” Caesar uttered, lifting his palm towards his chest, repelling himself from his current position, 35 meters towards the marine officer trying to escape the current position of the marine encirclement. The marine’s movements stopped as he saw a huge shadow of an object, begin to crash down on him. It was Caesar, using his Nikyu Nikyu, he’d repelled himself a few centimeters ahead of the escaping officer’s pace, which allowed him to position himself directly above the man. “Paw Motion - Ashi No Ugoki” Caesar stated. Slamming his lengthy legs in the form of an axle kick into officer’s temple. “Bounce - Baunsu” Caesar uttered. “Some evils can’t be erased with simple wishful thinking.” Caesar said smiling. "When did he move!?" Roxanne exclaimed. "Ma'am... We might be in trouble... That girl whose picking her nose.... She's" another marine of exclaimed in fear dropping onto the ground.

Meanwhile, the King of Ilusia, Leonardo Thalassa sat in a council meeting to discuss his position of the Four Heroes of Ilusia to the Royal Court. "Those of you who sit among me at this time... Are those who have supported my political career and shadow dealings in pursuit for the crown. Over the years... I've witness many injustices under 'his' reign. As a member of the Celestial Dragons, his tyranny was excused by The World Government. If it wasn't for that man's actions, I would never be able to succeeded the throne. That man is now labelled as a Great Evil in this World of ours, on the seas labelled as one of the Worst Generation, Caesar J. Cofresi, the man who shot and murdered the former King of Ilusia. It is in his steed, I've created the Four Heroes as pillars of the community. Granting them complete political and social immunity to usurp any injustice seen done to the people or by the people! Four of the Marines Cores brightest stars now lead the charge in putting Ilusia back on track. As long they stand, this country shall never fall again. To the World Government, Caesar is a villain. However, to me, he's this country's true hero!" Leonardo shouted, slamming his hands on the table. "Damn... He did it." Lucas Thalassa said sighing. "Is that how you truly feel? Sora watched and listened while aiming the booger that she had just picked at the woman that identified her partner in crime as the Burgundy Clown. Sora however honestly did not care about who he was, though it was a load off her back to have someone equal in her strength standing with her as she battled to get off this island. 'Doubled Petard Booger Blast,' she thought before flicking the booger at the Marine's face that was about to tell the woman who she was. Upon contact with anything, the booger would explode.

"I am 'Sky Bomber' Sora, I hold a bounty of a Hundred and Nine Million! I am a former crew member of the Soaring Pirates!" She exclaimed proudly, she had kept that fact hidden for so very long, but no longer. She did not care to hide her former crew's name any longer. She wasn't gloating, it was a pure and simple fact. If they were to attempt to fight bother her and Caesar they were going to die.

"Caesar, I am a skilled Navigator and Inventor. If you get me to Water 7, I will sail with you and will pay you a great amount of both Beli and inventions, especially my explosives technology," she told the captain of her future crew. She did not care if they knew where they would be going if they lived. The girl walked forth towards the Marines, and one of the Yonkou of Ilusia.

The white haired girl did not care about the people she was about to kill, nor did she care what the man nor the old woman thought of her. She was living her life how she wanted, the girl was going to have fun and do whatever she wants. It however did not mean she was stupid, nor did it mean she was going to be predictable to people, she was not a psychopath. Sora started to snort, while staring straight at Roxanne. Sora was focusing her Busoshoku Haki at the back of her throat, while infusing it into the wad of gunk that was being formed.

Gagging, the girl started to form one of her explosive loogies. She had a lot of ideas of how to turn her powers into either a long ranged weapon or a short ranged weapon. She even had ideas of how to use them in weaponry, which was what her gauntlets were. A couple of specialized pellet slingers that launched her special explosive bullets at things.

Once the loogie was of an adequate size, Sora smirked before saying through the mess within her mouth, "Loogie Cannon." Breathing in deeply, the girl would suddenly lean backwards before shooting her upper body forward while blowing with great intensity. The loogie that she was forming launched out of her mouth with intense force. It soared straight at Roxanne's face. The loogie appeared to be pitch black and shone in the light as though it was made out of black iron.

Sora smirked while dusting off her scarred hands, she watched as the fast projectile soared through the air at the woman, while waiting for the rest of the Marines to either attack or run away. She didn't care which way, it would be fun hunting down the rest of them, or letting them get away to tell their superiors a member of the Soaring Pirates was still alive.

“Let me make this clear to you, Your Majesty. I decided to take on this mission as part of my marine career in correcting these hostile and corrupt areas the World Government have been neglecting over the years. As much as I am contracted as the Country’s adviser, I will not tolerate the marine core being seen as the villains in this scenario. No matter how much merit your statement might hold, this conversation ends here.” Eternia said. The court was in distress from the King’s words, many of them had heard rumors of the former King having connections to the Celestial Dragons but never fathomed he’d actually be a member of their Royal Bloodline. “Also, your statement is semi-incorrect. Though IV was indeed a Celestial Dragon, he’d been disowned from the Mariejois since young. His mother fell for a Lvneel Noble and it was only common sense that his former status, along with his Father’s Birthwright made him anointed as the rightful King. To conclude, he wasn’t an officially ordained Celestial Dragon even though he was blessed by the Gods, genetically.” Eternia concluded. “So that’s the angle you’ll swing, Captain Eternia, the woman revered as the Iron Fist of Justice.” Lenardo thought.

“I don’t want your money but if that’s a request to take you to this Water 7 place then you got yourself a deal. It’ll only take five more days, we just need to make it out of here and lay low!” Caesar exclaimed. As the projectile approached the woman, she was unimpressed. “Have you lost your mind!? Surely you don’t think that spitting at me will get you out of this situation!” Roxanne said, lunging backwards to avoid the loogie. The projectile missed her barely, landing on one of the grunts behind Roxanne, the explosion was enough to send the formation of the marines into shambles. “A Devil Fruit user huh? Okay.” Roxanne said, now covered in black smoke from the woman’s explosion. “Enzyme Dominoes!” Roxanne shouted. The woman’s body began to glow a bright silver colour, a flow energy surged into her pistols, three streams of energy to be precise. Firing off six shots towards the female Supernova, the bullets attempted to make contact with the woman’s shoulder and chest cage area. If any of these shots made contact, it would cause abscess type swelling which will last for two posts. Due to her Koso Koso No Mi, Roxanne is able to turn projectiles into living enzymes which disrupt the already existing enzymes on the skin surface.

“He’s a monster!” one of the marines exclaimed. “Pressure Canon!” Caesar exclaimed. Dancing around the battlefield with graceful and acrobatic motions, Caesar began to fire off compressed packets of air, in the shape of paw prints towards the marine grunts. Lunging in a straight line forward from his current position, Caesar avoided the marines attempts of attacks effortlessly, swaying and avoiding each man’s sword swing with a simple side step. The pressure paws sent each marine, ten in total, that came into contact with the paw off their knees from it’s force, leaving bruising on the areas of contact. “Damn it!” Roxanne shouted, spinning around to aim her pistol towards Caesar. “Should you really be turning your back on the Snowflake-chan, Marine?” Caesar said smirking, “I know your men are dropping like flies but she isn’t any push over that’d be done in by one attack.” Caesar said smirking, kicking another marine in his mid-section. “Pounce!” Caesar exclaimed, as the marine standard officer’s dropped to the ground from Caesar’s swift assault. “Get the nets!” one of the marines shouted, advancing from guarding the perimeter to attacking the pirate. Taking off his second glove, Caesar slammed both of his hands into the ground, uprooting the earth the pirates were standing on. “Shatter! Konagona!” Caesar exclaimed, cracking the earth’s surface by 2.5 x 2.5 meters, using his body as the focal point, four marines lost balance, tripping, hitting their head and passing out from the shockwave. The marines all stated, onlooking in fear, only ten of them remained, each of them losing their will to fight. “I’m afraid I can’t offer you folks the option of running. But I’ll be gentle.” Caesar said, sticking out his tongue out of his mouth playfully.

Sora, focused her entirety into her battle with the woman in front of her while activating the prediction ability of her Kenbunshoku Haki. The supernova girl started to walk towards the woman, while dodging the projectiles. She leaned her body a bit away from them, causing them to simply fly past her while the girl walked forward. The white haired girl smirked, before cracking her knuckles. "I can do much more than just make things explode…. String Semtex!" She exclaimed before her hair started to shudder uncontrollably, or it seemed like that.

Suddenly, Sora's hair started to grow at extreme speeds, then the most amazing thing started to happen. The hair started to move as if it had a life of it's own! It shot forward towards the silver haired woman with reckless abandon! Sora's hair attempted to capture the woman in it's midst. Locks of hair attempted to wrap around the woman's legs, arms, waist, and neck. If the girl had indeed of captured the woman, the hair with the woman in it's grasp would suddenly explode.

"At sea, for a thousand years. In the mountains for a thousand years. Absorbing cosmic energy, drinking the purest water, and breathing the purest air, one becomes a Sage. Enduring this training, I have gained Life Return. By expanding my consciousness, and energy to every part of my body, I have gained control of every part of my body. From the tips of my fingers, to the tips of my hair," The girl boasted while making everyone there question her age. It should be impossible for someone to live for over two thousand years, but she does indeed have control over her hair and possibly the other parts of her body.

The girl smirked, before activating her life return powers once more. Her nose started to bulge out as if the girl was forcing the creation of a massive booger. Sticking her finger into her nose once more, the girl would take out a baseball sized booger. The girl would throw the massive booger like a baseball at one of the Marines that had been fighting Caesar. "Booger Nuke," she said calmly. Once the booger hit the woman, the booger exploded covering the woman's body in it's explosive power and ending her life.

The range of Sora’s explosion encompassed the Marine Captain’s body with great force, leaving severe burns of the fatal nature on her skin. The marines in the corresponding area were devastated by the assault but with the chaos of her grand attack, the remaining four marines were now on the run, trying to escape. Repelling himself in their path, the men dropped to their knees and plead for mercy. “Please! Let me go! I have a family and kids!” one of the men exclaimed. With her right eye half shut, Roxanne crawled towards Caesar’s direction, “Don’t you dare kill them, Caesar!” the woman shouted, barely clutching onto her life. Raising his hand impending, “Why shouldn’t I? You kill countless pirates everyday right? Isn’t it all a cycle, I kill you, you hunt after us until we can’t run anymore.. Our posters read Dead or Alive, it's usually the prior with humans.” Caesar said, moving his hand closer and closer to the men’s necks. Touching each of the marines on their back, they vanished in mid-air. “Caesar! You fucking animal… I… knew it… all pirates are the same.” the woman uttered before passing out. Placing back on his Cross patterned gloves, “Looks like I failed to stop them all from escaping, sorry Snowflake- I mean Sora.” Caesar said, not meaning to offend the girl with his nicknaming tendencies. Caesar was wrong to pity the men, he knew in his heart, he should’ve either killed them or knocked them out but the look in Roxanne’s eyes reminded him of his own from all those years ago.

“Alright. This brings this meeting to a conclusion.” Thalassa Lucas, the old man interrupt the King and the Marine Captain’s argument. “King Leonardo has informed us on the information we wished to share. This is a test of faith to the court, to see if this information will leak. Gentlemen, I advise you to each searching within your hearts and determine what this information means to you. The Royal Family so far have been tied to atrocious and heinous crimes. It is with our new council and faith in the New Heroes that we intend to move forward.” Thalassa concluded. Eternia stormed out the room, Leonardo stormed as well to his chambers. Thalassa let out a great sigh, “The youth bring changed but their so hot headed with it.” Lucas concluded shaking his head. Hours later, One of the marines from Roxanne’s squadron returned to the 45th Branch to report on the incident that had just occurred. “Sir! Captain Roxanne has been defeated! It was the one of the Worst Generation, Caesar!” the marine exclaimed before passing out from his injuries. Ves playful smile turned to a dark vengeful one, “Roxy…” the man thought. Taking up the the snail transponder that broadcast throughout the 45th Branch, “All members of the remaining Four Heroes, report to ‘High Duty’.” Ves reported via the transponder. High Duty, it was the command used almost three months ago when bandits tried invaded the turf of Ilusia, it is a command that orders marines to kill hostiles on sight once their faces and identity have been confirmed. “For remaining marine forces across the city, your objectives are to protect the people! I, Ves, along with Uxio and Eternia will capture this criminal, his crime is simple. The defeat and possible murder of our very own Roxanne! Caesar J. Cofresi, Wanted for Treason and by the world for the murder of a High Class Noble! We, of the 45th Branch shall bring him to justice!” Ves shouted, ending his island wide transmission by slamming his snail transponder. "Sir, there was also a girl with him... She was actually the one who defeated Roxanne..." one of the remaining marines from Roxanne squad reported with a hushed tone from Ves jumping the gun after hearing Caesar's name.

Ves’s body began to mutate into his half Zoan former from his anger, jumping through the Marine bases window, the man landed in the street. Sniffing around for any scents of the two pursued criminals.

Sora watched as the men disappeared. It was not destruction, she saw that his power was like the Pressure Pressure fruit, or something else. She saw him pushing the air to do some of his techniques. It was likely that the man spared the men, and simply pushed them somewhere else. She did not know where, but she was gonna have a talk about the mercy he showed them. The old woman came out after the fighting was done with Sora's clothes which were completely clean from her washing them. Heading back inside, the girl had quickly changed her clothing from the white kimono, to her usual outfit.

It seemed as though the old woman also repaired the clothing. She didn't see any patches, so it seemed as though she was skilled with sewing at the very least. As Sora walked back out of the house, she sensed someone that was incredibly angry that was running through the streets at the edge of her kenbunshoku senses. "We need to leave, I can sense someone trying to track us down," Sora said before, heading towards the gate and out of the compound. She stops suddenly before heading to the old lady.

"I'm sorry to do this, but it needs to be done. We threatened you for aid, when you refused we knocked you out," she said suddenly before chopping the woman's neck to knock her unconscious. Catching the old lady, the girl laid her on the ground softly. Walking back to the gates, Sora looked at the man. "Now we need to go, it would be rather evil of us to leave her here without a believable explanation for the Marines, nor becoming a criminal for helping two criminals." She walked out of the gates, and headed towards a random part of the town.

Great start to an adventure, Wonderlanders~ I was quite absorbed by the events surrounding Ilusia. And the multiple character perspectives were very enlightening also, Caesar, helping to solidify the plot's direction. Although, I would recommend, in your posts, that you separate the two perspectives with some sort of divider, just to make the transition clear to the eye. Sora did a good job referencing back to her history also, and did not assume the reader knew everything about her past (which is great!).

However, the combat scenario did leave something to be desired. I honestly felt it a bit rushed, and thought it could have grown into a far more entertaining and possibly even life-threatening scene. The booger bombs and the pressure cannons were great, don't get me wrong, but there were also a few glaring misunderstandings that I'd like to clear out for future reference. I've mentioned these after individual quoted posts.

One more thing I'd like to add before I move on to the combat section, is that admittedly, I was a bit underwhelmed by how easily Sora and Caesar joined forces (and I don't mean just for the fight. I mean the whole traveling together as crew-mates deal). The story for these two bonding for the first time, I'd like to believe, could have been much deeper. Instead, there was very little to no mention of what made them decide to tag along with each other. In Sora's case, her personality seemed to completely switch, in the respect that she had hated clowns with a passion. And, despite her having been re-traumatized by Caesar, by the end of the thread, it seemed as if she'd forgotten the whole event. You could argue that the "Maybe her fear of clowns altered her perspective of the reality of the fearsome clown? Who knew? The girl at that moment just wanted to know where she was, and if she could leave" part was where she got over her fear of clowns. But, if that is the case, it felt like a rather cheap and 'get-out-of-jail-quickly' way to escape one of her biggest fears. But, of course, I'm getting ahead of myself here. There are still many threads ahead for the Wonderlanders, and I hope to see Sora's conflicted thoughts about being friends with a clown.

Anyways! Off to the combat posts.

The fact that Sora grabbed a hold of Roxanne so easily when her reflex stat is only two-thirds that of her opponent, was a major misinterpretation of the combat system. While, yes, the combat stats are more of a guideline, they still refer to a general potential of a character. And the massive difference in their speed should have been apparent. I believe that this fight could have gone on much longer if Sora hadn't (and couldn't have) dodged Roxanne's ranged attack. It might have been more creative if she had simply tried to block it by causing explosions near the contact points, rendering the projectiles ineffective. And then later, as I mentioned before, Sora should definitely not have been able to grab Roxanne with a medium technique so easily. And even if she had, some sort of resistance from her after being grabbed, would've made the fight more interesting.

When you make NPCs with stats comparable to yours, be sure to treat them as if they were players. I mean this in the sense that you should not rush the fight to further the plot. Combat is a major plot-driver in the One Piece universe. Use it! People have entire monologues during combat, which can be used in RP all the same, to expand the story. In this regard, Caesar did a good job, having the discussion regarding the necessity of evil when the fight began.

There was only one thing I noticed with Caesar's combat posts that seemed off to me. Caesar does not (as far as his fighting style suggests) have the ability to make actual people (not tangible and inanimate objects) vanish without the use of techniques.

Regardless of these issues, this was a great start for piracy in Revival Dawn, and I look forward to seeing what kind of trouble the Wonderland Pirates will stir up next.
