Shefu budō (シェフ武道, Chef's Martial Arts) is a traditional martial arts said to be developed during the blank era. It is unknown who founded the art, but what is known has been passed from chef to chef teaching them to fight without putting their most valuable asset, their hands. This style of martial arts relies heavily on using one's feet, legs, and even heads as a weapon in order to preserve their hands for their true passion of cooking.

Taiga learned this style from his mentor Janemba, the man he idolised in his younger days. Today Taiga has pushed to develop new techniques and make this style of martial arts his own, a trademark of himself in combat.
