Born in the Kingdom of Ilisia, Jarvis was the only child of William and Martha Faro. His father was an antique shop owner and self-proclaimed archeologist. As a child, Jarvis spent his time listening to his father’s outlandish stories and watching his father restore artifacts. His father’s stories caused Jarvis to dream about exploring the world. But that dream was soon shattered when his father decided to leave in search for treasure. Jarvis waited for him but he never came back. His mother had to starting working to make ends meet and soon fell sick, causing Jarvis to resent his father for seemingly abandoning them. When Jarvis was 16, his mother passed away.
Orphaned and with no prospects, Jarvis had to resort stealing to survive. He soon was pressed into joining the Bradley Family whose money came from selling rare artifacts in the black market. His knowledge about rare artifacts allowed him to quickly rise up the ranks in the family and attracted the attention of the higher-ups. James Bradley, the head restorer, decided take Jarvis in as an apprentice and trained him to take over his position. He loyally worked for the family and soon became their head artifacts restorer/dealer. Despite living a cushy life, Jarvis felt restricted and always yearned from something more.
When Jarvis was 27, he witnessed the broadcast of Gray Stark’s “execution” at Marineford. His final words reignited Jarvis’s childhood dream of exploring the world and finding all sorts of treasure. He decided to leave the Bradley family and go out to the sea. The Bradley Family learned of this and tried to stop him from leaving. A scuffle ensured and Jarvis luckily escaped. During the escape, Jarvis accidentally caused a fire that burnt down the warehouse with all of rare artifacts. This act gained the ire of the Bradley Family who vowed to kill him. After his escape. Currently, Jarvis spends his time in search for treasure and adventure.
