Adelaide was born to a mother in deep deep debt. For her entire life, she was raised by a single mother who was barely able to feed them both thanks to one of the criminal syndicates within Spider Miles. At age 5, Adelaide was put to work herself but her mother intervened, taking her her child's work and increasing her debt even more. When Adelaide could get away, she would take to the streets and perform with a precious Yo-Yo she was given by a kind stranger. Although she made berries, it was never enough.
One fateful day, she watched a local bounty hunter cash in more berries than she'd had ever seen and it sparked a new passion in her. If she could capture pirates, she could pay off her mother's debt and they could finally be free. Now Adelaide travels in search for pirates that she can cash in on.
