Personality: Percival is known as a very carefree person, always smiling and laughing even in the toughest of situations. He is a helper of the people and will choose to help every time he sees someone in trouble and will ask for nothing in return. Pirates are the scum of the sea for him, seeing them as nothing but bad guys and criminals like he has always been told. While Percival is in combat he is known to try to handle things quickly, as he doesn’t want things to get too out of hand but will fight as long as needed until he sees a weakness to take advantage of. If an opponent is simply to overpowering for him, Percival will know when to give up as he values his life more than his ego.
- History:
Percival Fiamme was born in the Briss Kingdom in January of 1812. His father was an Oni from karate island and moved to Briss to join the marines but fell in love with a doctor after meeting her on duty. After Percival was born, his mother continued her work as a doctor with her own clinic but cut back on her load while also taking care of son as they had no one else to watch him. The boy never had it too hard growing up and wanted to be a marine doctor so he could make his parents proud of him. At the ripe age of 15 things took a sad turn for the family as the clinic was attacked by a group of pirates while Percival was out getting more supplies for his mother. When he got back he found his mother lying on the floor dead. Percival was out of it for months as he remembered his mothers body on the floor before managing to strengthen his resolve to become a marine doctor that can help anyone in the memory of his late mother. Thanks to his father becoming a marine wasn’t too hard and he was soon shipped out to a new base in the south blue away from his father. The two had a very heart wrenching goodbye as he had never been without his son before nor had the son been without his father.
Months after joining he was carrying out an order from a higher-up and getting things to clean the deck of his ship while they were docked but ended up lost on the way back to the ship. He found himself in a forest area where he noticed a weird fruit that looked like it was made of flames. Percival hadn’t eaten in a bit and thought it would probably be no harm in eating it and after nearly choking swallowing the first bite due to the taste, tossed the fruit immediately. Everything was fine as he found his way back to the ship but while cleaning the deck, his body exploded into flames causing him and those around him to panic. After he was put out, Percival was questioned and marines were sent to investigate the last area he was in. They found the bitten fruit and brought it back to the ship only to reveal that it was a devil fruit and Percival had now gained its power.
