Equipment Description: Given to him before leaving Lvneel by his uncle, Max carries a six-shot flintlock pistol in either inner coat pocket. Both are identical in appearance but to keep them apart, he has given each their own name. The one he carries in his left hand is Agony, while the other is Anguish. The addition of a six-chambered swing-out cylinder and a rapid-fire trigger on both guns causes Max to be able to shoot just that bit faster.

Equipment Description: Max's most prized possession, the young man is hardly ever seen without his black cloak. A memento from his father, the cloak is as dark as obsidian, with nothing but a quote on the back, woven into it with golden thread. 'iustitia pro iustis' was his father's path of justice and one that Max has adopted over time.
The coat serves as a constant reminder to Max that he's not alone. There are still people watching over him.
