When he speaks, he tries to be polite to the upper ranks but has a problem thinking that they shouldn't be ranked above him. Denver quietly judges people, and always thinks he is going to be stronger than the person he is talking to.
Combat: Denver holds himself as a strong swordsman. He lets his pride keep him fighting. Denver gives up the quiet facade when he is fighting, the trash talk slips out. His fighting personality is a lot of holding his ground and chipping away at his opponent.
- History:
Denver was born to Meena and Luca Garrick. His parents were merchants in the city. As Denver grew up, he often saw different officers in the marines come through. He continually wanted to become a marine because he knew that he would be able to get stronger if he did. He started selling swords for his parents when he was 13.
During that time, he started sneaking off with some of the older swords in order to practice with the blades, that is when he met someone very important in his life. Hail was a swordsman pirate who had come to Flevance in order to find a peaceful life after retiring. Denver trusted him, but Hail ended up stealing swords from his family's shop and pillaging their house. Hail also stabbed Denver's mother, almost killing her. It turned Denver cold, his normal trusting demeanor had changed and he wanted revenge. He asked his father to teach him how to fight, and with his permission started learning to fight with some of the marines.
When he turned 18, he joined the Marines in search of Hail. It was a small goal to get Hail behind bars, but on top of that, he learned he wanted to grow and to lead others.
