"Help! Help me! I surrender! Don't eat me!" the cries for help could at that point even be heard miles on the ocean... Of course, that's an exaggeration. The marine screams simply were quite loud and for a good reason. The man was being chased by the infamous Kuja hunters who are known as some of the best in the world, and also, having his leg being bitten by an enormous bear. This surely will create some horror dreams, that is if he survives to see them.

While the marine was simply busy screaming while being carried, Ryoichi himself was busy doing his best to dodge the jungle, but also the spears, and arrows that were shot at him. Through sheer 'skill', perhaps luck, the arrows, and spears did not land a single hit on him, though there were a couple of dangerous moments. His biggest enemy was the jungle itself.

His big size did not make it easy for him in this thick jungle. Mobility was an issue, and constantly, he found himself being blocked or hit by a tree... Strangled by a vein... Scratched by something sharp... And of course, stumbling on some of the fallen trees.

There came a moment after a stumble, where he had to make a decision. Either keep up using the big form that renders him almost immobile while trying to escape the jungle... Or, pull a good old switcheroo and shrink himself a bit. The latter was a better idea. He gathered himself up and shrunk his size, turning himself into a humanoid looking polar-bear. This of course meant that he stopped biting and carrying the escaped marine, now having him up on his shoulder... This did not stop the screaming though.

The trained Kuja almost immediately figured out what the hell was going on. "Zoan user... Capture it!" A new order was given. Trophy hunting turned into manhunt now. Ryoichi gritted his teeth as he heard the orders. Certainly better to be captured than killed.

The escape took a while, frankly longer than it should have, thanks to the screaming marine, but it bore the fruit of success. A big tree, enough distance escaped, and the mouth of screaming marine shut by Ryoichi gave him a moment to hide behind it and shake the Kuja off... But they did not stop their hunt. Oh no... They were on more alert than before.

After that brief moment, he attempted to start moving back in the previous way that he came from, having hoped that the Kuja had gone the other way... But all it took was one wrong step, and into the trap, he fell. Ropes extended up in the sky towards the tree with the net trap surrounding Ryoichi and the marine, who once more, began to panick. "We are going to get killed! Help!". Ryoichi on the other hand had exhausted himself enough, the form of his was fading, and all thanks to the special kind of net... Sea stone weights on it to keep the form of the net...

The escape was over... And the duo captured. It was now all in Kuja hand, who found the duo with ease, thanks to one screaming factor.

For the first time since she had joined this crew, Melanie's composure faltered, the tall kuja being absolutely gobsmacked by Yumiko's response. She had expected any answer except for that one, mainly because nobody in their right mind would say something like that here of all places. Melanie had grossly underestimated how foolish Yumiko could be.

And the woman just kept talking! With her eyes closed, she clearly couldn't see the crowd of disgruntled kuja surrounding them. Celia looked around nervously. Fortunately it seemed their ire was focused directly on Yumiko.

When the fool from Wano finally stopped talking, Melanie took a deep breath, composing herself. There was no getting out of this now. "Yumiko," she said slowly, with a noticable edge in her voice, "I think you may want to open your eyes." If, at the very least, so she can see the fist that would no doubt come flying at her face.


Meanwhile, elsewhere in the capital, Anton and Doc Black's arrival had drawn some attention. Contrary to popular belief, the women of Amazon Lily didn't hate men. In fact, most hadn't even SEEN one. So seeing a pair being escorted in, including one with a strange beak, attracted a lot of notice. As Anton and the doctor were brought to a rather public jail cell, there was quite a crowd, watching them like they were a novelty, or some sort of animal in a zoo.

"So, what's the plan sir?" Dock Black asked, leaning against a wall, watching the crowd. "Well," Anton replied in thought, "Sooner or later an authority figure will turn up, and I'll try to negotiate our release. In the meantime, we wait and hope Ryoichi and the other get brought here and not killed outright." He looked over at Doc. "Also, you may want to take your mask off."

Doc Black tilted his head. "Why?" Anton couldn't resist a small smile as he gestured to the kuja, "Because I believe some of these women are studying you, and your mask might give them the wrong impression." "Ah, I see. Far be it for me to give these women misinformation about us," the doctor chuckled as he removed his mask, much to the surprise of some of the women in the crowd.
