It was the first time Jude had every allowed himself to be plastered, drinking a bit here and their, albeit illegally to build up his tolerance.
Then, Jude blacked out. The last glimpse was a very snazzy hotel room with several women whose beauty were comparable to Goddesses in his eyes. By the time Jude had awakened, the cards had already been put into the place.
Sparing the details, a deflowered noblewoman of Alabasta, various scratch marks and fluids to paint the scene, several bottles of fancy liquor, and a prompt missing family heirloom left Jude as the scapegoat for the crime-scene. Jude was charged for his crimes, and tortured for ninety-nine days before Alibaba was found, and executed for the plot.
Though acquitted of heinous charges, the people of Alibasta believed that he was an accomplice to the trickster, remembering the days the two would pedal his merchandise in the streets of Alubarna. Shunned, ostracized by the very ghettoes that raised him and the high life types who scorned him, Jude reverted back to a life of crime.
It wasn't long before after two years of robbing nobles and aristocrats alike with his own hokey products, that Jude was placed into prison once again and sold off to exchange program between the Crown and the World Government who were looking for recruits to send off to the Tequila Wolf Project.
Months blurred into years, and before he'd notice, Jude had spent almost a decade working on Tequila Wolf. He'd often wonder about Alibaba, his betrayal, his childhood friends from Nanohana and heard whispers of the governments corruption but his own brutish reality left those thoughts to simple 'what ifs'.
Still, Jude didn't let his former crimes or misplaced loyalty stop him from being friendly with the people of Tequila Wolf, the prisoners embraced the young man, and the hardships on Tequila Wolf molded Jude into a true adult.
Jude started off in manual labor but after show-casing his medical skills was upgraded to a prison-doctor, and was given his nickname, The Gentleman, as he was admired by the ladies of Tequila Wolf as best looking out of the guys.

Nothing much else to say, this is the story of a Jude St.Croix, the prisoner doctor, who slaves away his days on Tequila Wolf for the connecting bridge project... but something doesn't sit right with Jude, he believes there's more to the project than what's being told to the prisoners.
