On Seinaru, an uncharted island in the South Blue, all first-born males are destined to fulfil one simple tradition. They must join the Monks Order, and commit themselves to a life of worship and prayer.
Of course, earthly desires such as fornication, alcohol consumption, drug abuse and unhealthy diets are prohibited. Porter's parents; an estranged monk and a distasteful nun conceived him on a solstice night after a bit too much... offerings to the Lord. Porter's father always struggled with maintaining the order's strict laws and his mother always desired more... attention.
Yet, they repented for their sinful ways, opting to take the corporal punishment and several days of fasting that came with breaking tradition. Allan was stripped from their care, placed directly into the Monk Order's program for children born out of wedlock.
Every year only the holiest were selected to increase the orders population and since Porter's parents would've never qualified as 'holiest' due to their many infractions, it was seen as taboo for their seed to even be allowed to live. However, Porter's parents refused not being apart of his life, dotted on him - under the guise of being an adopted uncle and auntie.
Porter excelled in all of his studies: prayer, physical training, fasting and even recreational skills like gardening. He was dubbed by the Monk's Order as 'The Holiest Monk' from a tender age of twelve, all of this change at his 'Coming of Age' ceremony.
The Coming Of Age Ceremony was simple. Teenage boys between the age of sixteen and eighteen were sent out into the 'Sinner's Realm' to indulge in the temptations of the Modern World. On Seinaru, technology and education was controlled and in most cases restricted. They were to be sent on a forty day excursion to the South Blue - Baterilla. The Holiest Monk, Allan Porter was appointed group leader, responsible for guiding his fellow monks back once the trip had reached it's climax.
However, the young group of Monk's found many climaxes on the island's sandy shores. Culture shock wasn't the word to describe what happened to the boys, an ex-monk and a former priest was designated as the boys contact on Baterilla. His repentance for leaving the order was sheltering the boys who came for their ceremony every year with food, shelter and spending money.
It was the first taste of Shochu that changed Allan Porter forever. Adopted the name of his first ever alcoholic beverage, Allan tasted every fruit that the island to offer. Women, food, drugs, night life, tangling with the local mafia's, the once controlled and prude personality of Allan was buried, and the new, Shochuji Priest was born.
After the Forty Days reached it's end, Shochuji abandoned the order. Telling the other boys to deliver this important letter to the head of the Monk's Order. The letter was nicely folded, sealed in a white envelop and sealed with red wax. Eager to hear their former disciples words, the Monk Order was absolutely puzzled when news broke that Allan forsook the order.

He'd use the money to join the Hunter Association and official start-up his Bounty Hunting career. Not much success, as every bounty he'd manage to score would end being spent on prostitutes and liquor. This harsh cycle continued for years, a few long term girlfriends, rashes, terrible hangovers and long wild nights.
At Twenty-Eight, after pissing off too many of the mafioso, he sought different kinds of adventure on the seas. Travelling from island to island, in search of bounties, booze and b- intelligent young ladies looking for intellectual conversation. What's next for Souchuji Priest? No one knows. Probably, a lot of liquor and penicillin.
