Don Gato is also used as a storage unit. He stores whatever Ebony wants him to and, as he gets many treats out of it, he is more than happy to help. When he feels like it, of course.
Don Gato also keeps Ebony and his friends close to him at all times. They like hanging out inside of the castle while he sleeps. As they don't bother him, he doesn't mind much at all.
Don Gato can also grow bigger so that there is more leg room for him to stretch. He occasionally does so when the sun is out or if people are being quite mean to him and throwing stuff at him."

Giancarlo Costa is a man on a mission. He is Curtis' loyal dog who has been tasked to follow Ebony while their partnership is active. A compromise Ebony and Curtis agreed to when she took a devil fruit as payment.
Giancarlo strives to prove himself to Curtis but is held back by Ebony's refusal to invest in him and his skills. Thus, he is forced to see Ebony's associates rise in ranks while he remains stuck at the bottom.
He especially hates the damned cat.
