For that instance, his mother understood that as her heir, and their familial successor, he is to be raised properly - in fact, inheriting her beauty was already enough reason to push him in the direction of his father's, whether he liked it or not, she was overjoyed to know her son not only have the looks necessary to become successful like his father and herself, but also the necessary personality resulting from his strict upbringing.

For that day, nobody dared to touch the Devil Fruit, not because of the price; but solely due to superstition about Devil Fruit. So then, he took his chance, however he was not the only one going after the Devil Fruit, there was another - a bona fide thief - who he find himself tangled with, and caught themselves in a tussle that didn't end well for the thief. Earl beaten him to the brink of death, and with the display of courage and might, the owner of the auction - having known that he Earl watches some of the action happening with interest had an idea, that what if he were to give him the Fuwa Fuwa no Mi for free. For getting rid of the thief that has bothered him for a decade. He revealed to Earl that he knew of the situation in Flavence, and is willing to lend a hand.
Earl had gathered many supporters over the past 6 months, it was not long ago that he acquired the Fuwa Fuwa no Mi, and not long since he started to learn how to use the power of the Devil Fruit. With the help of the auction owner, he managed to strategize a plan to depose Flavence of the corrupt nobles who used their own people as experiment subjects. Disgusted as he were, he must not do things that is beyond reason to them, but he must show their crimes to the public. The day of revolution came, with enough supporters to usurp power - he initiated a battle, a civil war between those who knew and supported the ruling family and those who oppose them. At the middle of it, Earl who at the end of the war, became known as an Angel who saved Flavence. Not many knew if he even existed, many rumours circulated thereafter: that he was not a human, he was truly an apparition that will save in time of need. But the most renowned information about him is his fighting prowess that is dreaded in many parts of North Blue.
He also apparently helped liberated and freed Flavence, successfully at that, from the grip of the World Government. To the point that they lost face to the public because a youth single-handedly thwarted their plans for North Blue, starting from Flavence. The reason why he stood up against the local ruler is because people of his interest, children, were harmed, and their desire to be free touched him. Which they all talk about, after finally regaining their freedom, with their illnesses cured. Story around him grew, the tale of a saviour. It grew like wildfire overnight, he became a star - a legend even, at some point, as the story did not end, it grew further.
The story of a mysterious personage who is like a guardian angel (partly because of his Fuwa Fuwa no Mi's power in display), who lead the war against the World Government and local nobility, and won. But not known to many that he is currently working as a chef in East Blue, disguising himself, allowing his hair to grow and hiding himself from the public so that it won't be revealed to Government agents or even the Marine that he actually exist.
Albeit, from time to time, he would show himself up - though, he remain hidden, because he keep a low-profile when conducting his vigilante-esque activity, especially against those who scorned individuals who believe themselves to be warriors, it's something of a new outlet, protecting fighters who fought with their lives in the line - but not appreciated by the public.

At the middle of it, Earl who at the end of the war, became known as an Angel who saved Flavence. Not many knew if he even existed, many rumours circulated thereafter: that he was not a human, he was truly an apparition that will save in time of need. But the most renowned information about him is his fighting prowess that is dreaded in many parts of North Blue.
He also apparently helped liberated and freed Flavence, successfully at that, from the grip of the World Government. To the point that they lost face to the public because a youth single-handedly thwarted their plans for North Blue, starting from Flavence. The reason why he stood up against the local ruler is because people of his interest, children, were harmed, and their desire to be free touched him. Which they all talk about, after finally regaining their freedom, with their illnesses cured. Story around him grew, the tale of a saviour. It grew like wildfire overnight, he became a star - a legend even, at some point, as the story did not end, it grew further.
The story of a mysterious personage who is like a guardian angel (partly because of his Fuwa Fuwa no Mi's power in display), who lead the war against the World Government and local nobility, and won. But not known to many that he is currently working as a chef in East Blue, disguising himself, allowing his hair to grow and hiding himself from the public so that it won't be revealed to Government agents or even the Marine that he actually exist.
Albeit, from time to time, he would show himself up - though, he remain hidden, because he keep a low-profile when conducting his vigilante-esque activity, especially against those who scorned individuals who believe themselves to be warriors, it's something of a new outlet, protecting fighters who fought with their lives in the line - but not appreciated by the public.
