Joki Joki no Mi (Steam-Steam Fruit)
Devil Fruit: Joki Joki no Mi
Devil Fruit Type: Paramecia
Devil Fruit Appearance: A bubblegum-hue fruit the size of a small melon, resembling a nectarine. It bears a pattern of counter-clockwise, rising swirls towards the top of the fruit. Its stem is of a vibrant green, and the same shape as other Paramecias such as the Gomu Gomu, Ope Ope, and Hana Hana no Mi.
Devil Fruit Description: Eating this fruit turns the newly-christened ability user into a “Steam Man”, granting them, as the name would imply, the power to generate tremendous amounts of steam from their own body. At will, the user can produce steam however they like from whatever part of the body they wish, be it a wide billow, a focused torrent, or even a sudden pressurized burst; naturally this also includes creating geysers on command. The cannonlike air pressure can even propel the user, hurtling them at high velocity through launching “jumps”, even when already in midair.
The secondary ability this naturally grants as well is, in generating steam, the user can “boil” their own body to intense degrees of heat. Their body can reach up to 400°F (204°C) shooting steam as hot as 265 °F (129 °C) and, logically following, their body can thereby resist temperatures that hot, as well, easily enduring in boiling heat and desert climates – however, specializing Devil Fruits such as the Heat, Flame, or Magma Devil Fruits can easily supersede that threshold of resistance, as will any alternative heat source that well exceeds that limit.
This Devil Fruit ability has a natural weakness against that of the Suna Suna ni Mi, as the sand Logia's secondary ability to dry up moisture counters most ranged options the Joki Joki no Mi can produce.

Weapon Utilization: Bare-knuckled brawling and grapples backed by steam pressure
Description: Channeling the power of the Joki Joki no Mi, Reis has learned to combine his favored boxing and wrestling styles with these powerful emissions to wreak huge devastation in an immediate proximity and dealt to a specific target, regardless of size. Reis propels his strikes and himself with powerful bursts of steam, smashing his opponents with highly-magnified kinetic force on impact, releasing another burst at the point of impact for good measure, delivering crushing blows or hurling his foes away– failing that, should he get his hands on them, the unfortunate for will find themselves smashed about the area in huge, heavy grappling maneuvers.
Since Reis isn’t the most mobile of fighters, relying on a close range to deal his heaviest damage, he’s rounded out his repertoire with a bevy of ways to project steam with tremendous force to hurl scores of foes into the air and scatter them around the battlefield, through cannons of pressurized steam, sending rippling waves through the battleground, or triggering a gigantic geyser to blast away anyone who got it in their head to try and surround him.
Toggled and Passive Abilities: The body resists heat up to 400°F (204°C) and carries the same internal heating potential, remaining at optimal capacity in the hottest and coldest natural climates evenly, though cannot resist temperatures in either direction that would overtake this threshold.

Flavor: Reis's calling card and most heavily-employed attack. He cocks an arm back, building the pressure before shooting it forward in a powerful gout of steam, releasing another burst on impact with the opponent.
Joki no Shovel
Type: Flat
Cooldown: 2 turns
Flavor: Reis lashes out an arm, pounding his fist into any given nearby surface. Triggering a burst of steam at the point of impact, the reaction shoots a wave of force through the ground or wall towards the enemy in question.
Joki no Press
Type: Flat Hybrid
Cooldown: 6 turns
Duration: 2 turns
Debuffs: 10% Down to RX
Flavor: Reis catches an opponent unawares, violently swinging them around and smashing them against the nearest surface full-force, backed by heavy jet propulsion. The huge impact debilitates the enemy briefly, dropping their ability to guard themselves as effectively and thereby reducing their ability to avoid damage until they regain their bearings.
Joki no Jet
Type: Stat Morph
Cooldown: 6 turns
Duration: 2 turns
Buffs: 25% Up to RX
Flavor: Reis focuses pressure into his legs, rocketing at his foe at a much higher velocity than the norm, closing the distance at a speed comparable to Soru to catch them unprepared for his attack. The focused jetting carries for a brief period of time, allowing Reis to make multiple attempts to deal damage while zipping around at a blinding pace.
- Medium Techniques:
Joki no Cannon
Type: Flat
Cooldown: 4 turns
Flavour: A staple technique of Reis's, and his go-to when lighter moves fail him. He winds up his arm in a rapid spin at the shoulder, before throwing a punch that fires off a blasting torrent of steam in the direction he swings, carrying a punch of pressure comparable to an actual cannon on impact, though the range isn't indefinite.
Joki no Turbine
Type: Flat
Cooldown: 4 turns
Flavour: Reis begins executing a spinning lariat, sweeping up a cyclone of steam around him until he's spinning with firsts outstretched at either side at a rapid pace in a superheated twister, gliding around the area to smash into whoever's unfortunate enough to get caught up in it. An aside note, using this move suspends him in midair briefly, allowing Reis to hover a short distance or catch himself to soften his landing from a dangerous fall.
- Heavy Techniques:
Joki no Engine
Type: Stat Morph
Cooldown: 12 turns
Duration: 4 turns
Buffs: 40% Up to ATK / 35% Up to RX
Flavor: Reis cranks his body’s temperature up to the very limit, his skin glowing red and radiating heat, constantly emitting billowing steam. His muscles tensed with overwhelming internalized pressure, Reis’s every movement is given explosive backing to it, amplifying every hit and rocket-propelling every evasive action. Holding this state puts a huge strain on his extremities and chest, risking fracturing bones and tearing ligaments, so he can’t sustain it for too long – only for when the time has come to deal decisive damage.
Joki no Hammer
Type: Flat
Cooldown: 6 turns
Flavor: An attack using his entire mass, Reis rears back, building steam at his back and legs, and then launches himself towards the enemy in a full-body tackle at a blinding speed, either sending them reeling or smashing them into a nearby wall. This move is variable in that he can technically use it in any direction, ascending to impact a foe above him or crashing down in a powerful stomp.
Joki no Driver
Type: Flat
Cooldown: 6 turns
Flavor: Reis closes in on the opponent, catching them in an ironclad grapple. He then takes a launching leap with them high into the air, sending them into a rapid spin as he gets his captured enemy into position, before launching them back down, spiraling down and smashing them into the ground in a spinning piledriver.
- AoE Techniques:
Joki no Geyser
Type: Flat
Cooldown: 8 turns
Flavour: Reis delivers a powerful strike to the ground beneath or immediately adjacent to him, be it via a punch or a stomp, causing a tremendous geyser of steam to erupt from the ground in a wide radius, battering anyone caught in its breadth and sending them flying, on top of wrecking devastation on the surrounding area. In terms of payload, this is easily among Reis’s most powerful singular attacks. This can be executed on any surface Reis is standing on – but only a surface that he’s standing on.

Cooldown: 8 turns
Flavour: Reis puffs himself up, before fiercely exploding out a continuous burst of steam in all directions, creating a spherical barrier of impact force jetting all around his body to protect himself on all angles. The range isn’t big enough to conceal his position or act as a shroud, but it’ll forcibly reject anyone immediately nearby and force back against attempts to push through and attack him.
