Shark Skin Style
Fighting Style: Shark Skin Style
Weapon Utilization: Samehada
Description: A unique fighting style created around the weapon Samehada, a blade that was given to him by his sensei. This fighting style combines his fishman ability to manipulate water within the atmosphere and the environment, with the heavy handed sword style. The fighting style allows Himura to harness water from his surroundings to enhance his sword strikes, and even shape and control water for various destructive attacks. Rumor has it, that with certain techniques, Himura could alter the terrain and flood an entire areas, and could potentially create massive bodies of water in the process. Common applications within this fighting style involves creating a miniature wave that he would ride upon to close the distance between he and an enemy, wrapping his weapon in water to increase its cutting power, and creating devastating tidal waves to decimate multiple areas.
Toggled and Passive Abilities: List any and all passive abilities and properties your devil fruit/fighting style gives you. This cannot include any damage-dealing special attacks, as those will be included under techniques. Passive/toggled abilities cannot give buffs/debuffs higher than 20%. You may have no more than 2 buffing/debuffing toggled abilities.
Techniques
(The following techniques can either be all devil fruit techniques, or a combination of devil fruit, and natural/weapon techniques)
- Light Techniques:
Dance of the Dwarf Shark
Type: Flat
Cooldown: 2 post
Duration: 1 post
Flavour: The user would gather water moisture within the atmosphere to create a pool of water below them. They would then ride this pool of water, which would now become a small wave that would carry them forward. Once the distances has been closed, the user would make two slashes; one downward diagonal immediately followed by a second upward diagonal slash, the direction of which can change from post to post.
Dance of the Pygmy Shark
Type: Flat
Cooldown: 2 post
Duration: 1 post
Flavour: The user would gather water moisture within the atmosphere to create a pool of water below them. They would then ride this pool of water, which would now become a small wave that would carry them forward. Once the distances has been closed, the user would make two slashes; one horizontal slash to the left, and another horizontal slash to the rights.
Take a Deep Breath
Type: Stat Morph
Cool down: 2 post
Duration: 2 post
Buffs: 25% increase to Reflexes
Flavor: During his training, Himura’s sensei had tasked him to master and learn various breathing techniques. These breathing techniques were designed to help him control and reduce stress, while aiding in his ability to focus on the task at hand. This tactical breathing would allow him to not only clear his mind and aid in his concentration, but it would also allow him to prepare his body for an attack or to conduct an attack, and allow him to more accurate aim a strike. Therefore, Himura would take a deep breath and in doing so, Himura would receive a 25% increase to reflexes.
- Medium Techniques:
Dance of the Bull Shark
Type: Flat
Cooldown: 3 post
Duration: 1 post
Flavor: Himura would collect water moisture within the environment to create a pool of water below him, and then cause the water to erupt like a geyser, using it to leap into the air. Water moisture would also collect around Samehada, Himura would then descend onto his opponent to impale them, creating a water pillar that would erupt upward upon contact with the ground. This water eruption would damage the terrain, and knock the opponent backwards away from the point of impact.
Dance of the Frenzied Sharks
Technique Type: Flat/Hybrid
Cooldown: 9 post
Duration: Instant
Debuffs: -20% willpower
Description: Himura would outstretch his arm and collect water moisture within the environment to create a pool of water, from the pool of water five shark constructs would be launched towards his opponent. He can control these constructs to that they surround an opponent, or he can have them attack his opponent in a single direction. Whatever the case, the sharks would be about the same size as an average bull shark, and would attempt to bite down onto the opponent and damage them. The bite would cause some minor bruising and bleeding which would decrease an opponents willpower.
- Heavy Techniques:
Dance of the Great White
Technique Type: Flat
Cooldown: 5 turns
Duration: Instant
Description: Himura would outstretch his arm and with his hand flatten outward, he would collect water moisture within the atmosphere and environment into a pillar of water. He would then shape the pillar of water into a giant shark, one that Himura would launch towards an opponent. The shark would then bite down onto the opponent, swallowing them in a explosion. This water construct is about the same size as a great white shark.
