Perhaps its overconfidence, or too many brownies, but it is very rare for Himura to show concern or worry about a situation or a scenario. While this can be a little irritating for some of his comrades, this cool and level-headed demeanor can be rather assuring to civilians who simply needs someone to comfort or assure them that everything would be alright. Though, it should be noted that this does that mean he is incapable of being driven to an alarming state, more so, that he rarely shows alarm or worry outwardly. In battle, Himura is known to make sarcastic jokes and jabs, while remaining calm and somewhat serious. Likewise, Himura prefers to talk things out and handling things diplomatically, and when pushed to a ‘pointless fight’ he is commonly known to complain throughout the fight. Then again, Himura is known to complain with any type of work that he is forced to do and does not want to do.
Admittedly, Himura is a lazy person who’d prefer to just lounge around drinking and eating, instead of being physically fit, and he is infamous for conning his way out of doing work by pushing it off on his comrades. Though he is infamous for pushing work onto his comrades so that he can remain lazy, Himura is known to be a courageous and compassionate fishman. He treats his comrades like family and shows genuine concern for their well-being and safety. He is the type of person that if he was a captain or commander, he will never give someone under his command an assignment that he didn’t feel they couldn’t handle, nor would he send his company members on suicide missions. In fact, he finds it incredibly disgusting when a Captain treats his company poorly or sends them out on suicide missions. Himura has butted heads with multiple Captains, multiple times for this harsh treatment. In a similar manner, Himura does not closely follow the rules, and he is not willing to take risks that would endanger the lives of his company or innocent civilians, with that being said, Himura is not afraid to sacrifice himself in order to save other people.
Himura can be considered a nice guy, or well mostly a nice guy. He does have a bad habit of speaking his mind and well, speaking bluntly without any thought to what he is saying. When people first meet him, Himura can come off as a little introverted and aloof, and he doesn’t really seem to be that much of a talker. Though, when he gets comfortable around people or when drunk, Himura can become a surprisingly boisterous and even talkative person. Until then however, Himura usually sticks to the side-lines and observes situations and people from affair, and only really engaging in conversations with complete strangers when absolutely necessary or when he wants to.
- History:
Born in the year 1806, Himura comes from Fishman Island, in the Red Line. When he was five years old, Himura’s village was raided by pirates where he and his mother was taken into slavery by the Celestial Dragons. Before the shipment of slaves could be completed, a Marine ship intercepted the Pirates. In the following struggle, many of the slaves were killed, including Himura’s mother. The slaves that survived were set free, save for Himura, whom the captain took in as a son. The reason why the captain adopted Himura is unknown, the marine would simply say that ‘Himura had a look to him that he liked’, whereas, his colleagues would point out that the Captain’s son had recently died and that in a moment of grief the Captain adopted Himura. The Marine Captain would take Himura to East Blue, where, he and his wife would raise Himura as their own.
The Marine Captain who adopted Himura would groom him into becoming a Marine, in the hopes that Himura would help bridge the gap between humans and fishmen. When Himura turned six years old, his adoptive father would hire a sensei in fishman karate to educate him on the water control techniques, as well as the culture of his people. Himura would form a close friendship with his sensei, and come to view him as a secondary father figure and a gate way to the Fishmen world. At the age of ten, Himura would attain a black belt in Fishman Karate, and his sensei would help him develop his own fighting style that revolves around the usage of a bastard word; a weapon which his adoptive father would teach him how to use and handle. Himura would continue to undergo his adoptive father’s and his teacher’s training until the age of sixteen. At the age of eighteen, Himura would join the marines where he would work as a navigator.

Hey Himura! Welcome to Revival Dawn! I hope you enjoy your time here! I'll be evaluating your thread, nothing major this time around, just a few minor hiccups and you'll be good to go!

I believe you meant 'son' and not 'soon'. XD
The only other thing it'd need you to answer is Himura a marine or a revolutionary member because your faction still reads Revolutionary but your description and history point otherwise?

Mhm. Minor edits and I really enjoyed this application. The fact he's so big and lanky, has an intimidating factor but still has a kind heart, gives him the gentle giant feel. Well, where his allies are concerned, interested to see his interactions with pirates etc. Anyway, enough ramblings, approved! Get out there and clean these seas up!
