Crackdown Zealot
Fri Feb 21, 2020 12:25 pm
Fighting Style: Crackdown Zealot
Weapon Utilization: Long Mace, Club, Non-bladed Pole Weapons, etc.
Description: A simple style used by fighters with no time for fancy flourishes, Crackdown is in essence not much more than the user putting all of their strength into their attacks and not holding back, but with a mace.
The Zealot half of crackdown Zealot is related almost entirely to using “belief” to push the body harder. Force of will and conviction used as fuel for the fire and allowing limits to be overcome for a time, though their zeal can also be pushed outwards to inspire others.
Toggled and Passive Abilities:
Zealot Stance: By abandoning your sensibilities, you allow your beliefs to come out and play. You may be wilder, but you won't be able to defend yourself. Defense -20%, Willpower +20%
Crackdown Stance: By suppressing your will and focusing its energy elsewhere you can find new strength to pull on. Attack +20%, Willpower -20%
Techniques
- Light Techniques:
Pauper
Technique Type: Flatl
Technique Level: 1
Maximum Base Range: Melee
Cooldown: 1 turn
Duration: N/A
Buffs: N/A
Debuffs: N/A
Description: A simple technique, but effective. The user keeps a loose grip on their weapon and attacks suddenly, often in an effort to make themselves seem unprepared but still deal a little bit of damage
Rhenania
Technique Type: DoT
Technique Level: 1
Maximum Base Range: Melee
Cooldown: 1
Duration: N/A
Buffs: N/A
Debuffs: N/A
Description: An “anatomical”strike, of sorts. The user attacks directly into the lower ribcage of the enemy with the intention of causing a minor breakage or bleeding.
Zealots Wall / Ramshackle Barricade
Technique Type:Stat Morph
Technique Level: 1
Maximum Base Range: Self / Single Allied Target within 10m
Cooldown: 3
Duration: 2
Buffs: Defense +25%
Debuffs: N/A
Description: The user pulls on their reserves to push themselves through the enemies attacks, though they aren’t going to just bunker up and protect themselves. It’s more like forcing the body to ignore pain than actually lessening damage but it works nonetheless.
The variant that targets allies is significantly harder to use, since it’s less about control of the body and more like brute-forcing your willpower into helping someone else… It’s like, pulling on your own reserves of energy for someone else? Weirder things have happened.
Zealots Siege Ladder
Technique Type: Flat
Technique Level: 5
Maximum Base Range: 50 meters

Zealots Battlements
Technique Type: Stat Morph
Technique Level: 5
Maximum Base Range: self
Cooldown: 6
Duration: 3
Buffs: Attack +10% Defense +40% for user.
Debuffs: N/A
Description: The user tries to emulate the great castle walls of old, they convince themselves that they are unbreachable and that they MUST strike back at those who attack them.
- Heavy Techniques:
Faint Hearted
Technique Type: Flat
Technique Level: 1
Maximum Base Range: Melee
Cooldown: 5
Duration: N/A
Buffs: N/A
Debuffs: N/A
Description: The pinnacle of one-target attacks in the Crackdown Zealot style, the user puts all of their force into a series of terrible blows. Faint Hearted has so much put into it that it forces the user to subconsciously control all of their bodily functions in a primitive/instinctual version of Life Return (or Seimei kikan if you prefer).
This total usage of the body's power leaves the user literally faint-hearted for a little bit after the attack.
Peter

This is it

[ Excellent work for your first attempt! Just a few comments in red. Also, your bold tags seem to be broken after the first few LTs (everything is in bold). May want to fix that! ]
