Dorian Allgood
Basic Character Information
Starting Bonus: Tough Guy | [Starting Bonus Roll]
First Name: Dorian
Middle Name/Initial Medraut
Last Name: Allgood
Epithet:
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Faction: Marine
Profession: Sharpshooter
Physical Appearance
Height: 6'3" (190.5 cm)
Weight: 159 lbs (72.1 kg)
Hair Style: Spiked
Hair Color: Silver
Eye Color: Gold
Scars: None
Clothing and Accessories: As a Marine, Dorian wears the standard issue uniform when on duty; white emblazoned shirt, blue trousers and a baseball cap that flattens out his hair. Outside of this, he is most commonly seen in black and white clothes, generally following the same trend of a longer black coat over a white shirt. One of his favourite outfits is a suit with the tie loosened and top button undone to add a casual touch. A simple ear piercing and a ring on his finger are also common sights to see.
Description: Dorian stands a little above the average man, being a few inches over six feet. He has a defined body, toned from his time working in the Marines. He endeavours to keep his body in good shape, giving him a muscular build that is aided by his working in the Marines. Dorian also tries to maintain his looks, keeping his light tan skin healthy and smooth.
The Past
Main Traits: Self-serving, Vain, Collected
Likes: Appearances, Marines
Dislikes: Pirates, Losing composure
Unique laugh: Hmhmhmhm
Hometown: Conomi Islands
Personality: Dorian is a believer in style over substance; people will accept anything, if you can wrap it in nice enough ribbons. This causes him to have a vain side to him, and a strong preference for things being neat and tidy as he tries his best to seem immaculate and professional. He strives to maintain a collected demeanour, keeping his voice and body language level and neutral, regardless of how he actually feels, releasing his bottled emotions when he thinks he is alone.
At his core, Dorian is ultimately selfish; he values his own needs as greater than those of others. This does not mean he thinks nothing of people, and will aid people, but he is less likely to do so if he does not feel he has something to gain - whether that be reinforcing an image of selflessness or material gain - or if he feels it will impact him too greatly.
- History:
Dorian's father was a pirate, popping in and out of his family's life whenever he found himself in hot water. He spoke with honeyed words and hollow promises that he would stay, it would be different this time. So the cycle would perpetuate, his mother barely keeping the pair afloat, balancing the family she had here with the pining for the man who came and went with the tide.
As soon as he could, Dorian was set to work trying to earn a little extra coin to help tide his family over, taking on various odd-jobs such as monitoring the port and helping with small maintenance work.. His father was not the only pirate who visited the Conomi Islands, however; would-be subjugators would arrive at the park, loud-mouthed and brash. "A tax," they said, "for your own security". With little to defend themselves with, the villagers would comply, lying down and waiting for the Marines to appear and sort the situation out. Another cycle, one that put yet further strain on his crushed mother and himself - though thankfully it was dealt with in time to keep them from true financial ruin.
Eventually, Dorian decided it was time to leave his home behind, and signed up for the Marines. Managing to get in, he acclimatised fairly quickly to the lifestyle, his days of helping around the village helping him grow into a more combative role. Dorian took to wielding a gun, spending his time working on his aim, learning to keep a steady hand and a firm grip.

A vain marine, eh? The marines could sure use some more fashionistas.
