Personality: Maru is a dog through and through. Besides being flirtatious anytime he gets, the mercenary is often known to do harmless pranks on big-time pirates to send a message. Maru isn't much of a killer but he does enjoy humiliating his foes in combat, always planning a fate worse than death based on how prideful his opponent is at the time. His main weakness in combat is women, being brought up on the fact that a man should never hit a woman he will not attack but instead defend himself until the lady gets tired of hitting him or he could get away. He is also not really the smartest of individuals either since if a picture of a pretty looking woman is presented to him on his foes person he will not attack or even if they manage to make themselves look like a woman his no hitting women rule will stand. This also applies if you are a very ugly or mature lady since Maru could always find a lewd thought that makes him incapable of hitting anything with boobs.

Maru lives on Comomi island in a small fishing village in his early life. His life was as average as average got but unlike most children his age, Maru wanted to be a superhero when he grew up. Crime is abundant in the world of pirates, so in order for him to be the hero that people needed he first had to fit the role by looking the part. He started to wear capes and mask, helping villagers with small things at first when his superhero career was just beginning. He was without his weaknesses because girls were his single weakness since his parents always told him to never hit a lady. The girls who wanted to play the villain often did things like tie him up than thought of dasterly ways to torture him which was make believe but Maru always thought it was fun, especially when he finds a way to excape the slow acting make believe death trap his female foes planned for him.
This fascination with girls proceeded to his teens though his passion for being a superhero never changed. He decided for his career he was going to become a bounty hunter since they make a lot of money to take care of the villains that plague society today. The Marines were cool but Maru preferred to work alone like the dark heroes in comics. Eventually when he was strong enough, he started to train to take the law into his own hands though for his outfit he used a supervillain guide for his costume idea since bad guy costumes were a lot cooler than the super hero ones. He had the costume, he had the job as a bounty hunter, now all he needed was a crew who fought for justice. He found a bunch of new recruits for the Marines, offering his services for the payment of some glorious erodic comics he can keep on his person. The group never asked him if he was a marine either, they just allowed him to tag along and now Maru had a crew that'll aid him in the dangerous world of pirates. Prepare to set sail for the story of the perverted superhero Yamamoto Maru begins here…..
