There has been rumors of a certain infamous bandit group planning to target the museum in an attempt to steal this art piece. Will this seemingly simple assignment go by smoothly for the two?
It was time...
Erik’s first real assignment not counting those responds to petty theft , loiterers, and bar brawls! He and a group of Marine Ensigns under a
a Marine Captain we’re tasked at standing guard at The Notice Island Museum of Fine Arts. The young Marine was pretty much loving both dreams! Finally being able to show how capable he is as well as being surrounded by all of this wonderful art! A few marines were patrolling outside of the museum while more were in various places of the first and second floors, Erik being one of the ones on the second. They all wore their standard Marine clothing and held rifles, or flintlocks in hand. Erik instead wore his custom Marine attire and was armed with nothing but his fists and devil fruit ability.
While the others patrolled, keeping their eyes peeled...Erik appeared to be preoccupied with the various art pieces
“Is that...a sculpture of the Fleet Admiral Hannibal Strauss!?” Erik said as he rushed up to said statue, placing a hand under his chin as he pondered. “They did...a decent job of capturing his greatness.” He then turned around and noticed various painting across the walls, his eyes beaming with excitement which both confused and annoyed some of the people and marines in the museum. “DUBOIS JR!” the captain yelled, quickly freezing Erik in his place as he turned around to salute his superior. “S-sir!” The captain rolled his eyes before crossing his arms. “This is an important job, one that requires focus, boy. These may be rumors, but still it should be taken seriously. That painting being delivered here is very valuable, a goldmine for thieves. We need to be on the watch out for crooks, and one group in particular...” “The Jade Panthers? Are you sure they will try to attack in broad daylight?” Erik asked as he looked out of a nearby window.
“I’d like to say it’s unlikely...but you never know with that group. They are infamous for pulling off these sorts of heists and getting away from us Marines. But...we need to send a message that we shouldn’t be taken lightly.” Erik looked back at the captain and nodded with a look of determination. “Right.” The captain then nodded before yelling, “NOW GET BACK TO WORK!!” causing Erik to stumble a bit before saluting.
Hopefully the division in charge of escorting the courier and the painting are doing well.

Elizabeth's new and official assignment as a Marine, didn't sound or feel overwhelming. Perhaps she expected too much for someone that's starting out. She isn't alone. Elizabeth wasn't the only fresh meat out of the rest, to be set out on their first mission. It felt like a nice fresh start of her pursuit, in becoming a cipher pol agent. All of those who are great and serve the government, had to start out somewhere. She understood those things very well. Her first mission sounded straightforward and simple. Elizabeth and her associates are tasked to guard an important painting. They didn't want to face the risk of having a band of thieves, swooping in and taking the museums most prized possession.
Elizabeth wasn't in her issued marine uniform. She wore her casual outfit to the job. Elizabeth became indulged in her thoughts, before her thought process would be interrupted by the loudness of a captain. Her attention turned towards what would be fresh meat, just like Elizabeth. Her laugh was silent, but her fellow associate could still be able to here her silent laughter. "You don't want to look like an embarrassment on your first job, do you?" Elizabeth said to Erik in a sarcastic tone.
