Appearance: Big Dirty is physically the largest member of the crew standing at thirteen feet tall and he is a mountain of muscles. He also has light-colored hair, which is a bright blonde color that is natural to him. He has a theme of gold as he often finds himself wearing a gaudy gold suit underneath his coat and he wears everything that is gold. He is someone who often doesn't wear an undershirt beneath his suit because he likes to show off his massive pectoral muscles. He is often oiled up and therefore glistens often, though not on his hands. He seems to always wear shades but he will take them off when a physical altercation is about to take place. He likes to fight with his hands.
Background: Gaining his name for the vulgarity of his mouth and the eagerness he is to shamelessly flirt with anything that has two legs, Desmond joined the crew before the battle with the North Star Pirates. He is a drunkard who was kicked out of the city guard in Flevance for harassing too many citizens with his often aggressive and awkward romantic advances. Despite that, he was the son of a very popular carpenter whose trade dealt with boats and he happened to inherit those skills from generations of ship makers. Due to this, Desmond was made the shipwright of the crew pretty early on after joining and recently became the crew's Entertainer after he discovered he is a pretty funny storyteller.

Background: Some men are born good. Some men are born bad. Some men are born pure fucking evil. Sometimes, there is no rhyme or reason behind a man's character — no accounts to support why he is one way and not another. Sometimes, men just are.
Jackson Makarov is one such man.
Jackson was not a gifted individual in any regard except one: he was wealthy. He was the middle child of a pair of famous tailors. In his youth, he never wanted for anything material. Food, clothes, toys - if one could buy it, he already owned it. He never wanted for anything immaterial. Compassion, attention, respect - he had it all.
It started on a mid-summer's eve. The boy crushed a toy he had long cherished. When his mother asked after the reason, he said, "Its time had come." Mama and Papa Makarov paid no heed to the babbling of a six-year-old and continued to shower the child with love and riches.
Two years later, a child drowned. In the company of his little brother, Jackson forced his older sister's head underwater for a few minutes too long. "Her time had come," he said to the four-year-old witness of the murder. The youngest Makarov could not yet understand what he had seen.
Another five years passed before the Makarovs were a happy family again, with their grief for the lost member reasonably subsided. On the night of his thirteenth birthday, Jackson stabbed his father. He jabbed a fire iron once, twice... thirteen times and planted the thirteen candles from his birthday cake into the bleeding holes of Papa Makarov's corpse. The mother could do nothing but watch in horror while her eldest son butchered her dear husband.
"Your time has come," he whispered coldly as his mother clutched her younger son, guarding him. In a frenzy, she chucked a flaming log from the fireplace at the death bringer's face. The boy howled like a witch-burning at the stake. His wild and desperate flailing set alight his family home, bringing it all down on top of him.
One might have thought we had reached the end of this tale, but Jackson's time had not yet come. He awakened in a pile of ashes and rubble. He searched for the corpses of his remaining family, but only found the mother. The brother was gone, but he knew not where.
He wiped away the coal dust off a shard of a mirror, gazing at his charred-black frame with disturbing fascination. His flesh had melted nearly to the bone. Only the whites of his eyes and his toothy grin now stood out in the darkness.
Jackson set out in search of his brother. For years, he traveled far and wide, never affected by the repulsion his visage incited in those around him.
After many years on the hunt, he tracked the brother down to a famous pirate crew in the North Blue - the Primetime Pirates. On an island where they'd recently made trouble, Jackson ambushed the Primetime grunt and hammered his head in with their mother's femur.
When arrested by the other Primetime pirates and interrogated for his madness, he spoke one more time, "I am the Representative of Death, and my brother's time had come."

Not much is known about her past before that incident, but she was the daughter of farmers on the countryside and was only in town to find fame and fortune as a officer in the Kingdom but those plans were derailed in one evening. She is the least violent member of the group.

NPC appearance: Larry is a rather short individual who is built like a brick house. He sports blood-red hair that looks like it is endless strands of licorice, hence his nickname. He is never seen without his shades on and typically wears a traditional business suit underneath the large black coat that every "important" member of the crew wears on their shoulders. On the back of this coat itself there is the crew's insignia. There are not many people in the world that have seen him outside of the suit, but underneath the suit itself he has a body that lacks scars on it, due to his lack of actively participating in most of the fights that go on. This does not mean however that he doesn't know how.
NPC background: Larry met Brood in the Mountblanc Kingdom three days after the man began to travel around with the beautiful Sasha Platypus. He was peddling fake ointments around to town folks when he noticed the stature and build of brood and found himself impressed by what he saw. Despite claims that he hailed from outside of the North Blue, he actually was born on Rubeck Island and was often teased for his bright red hair that looked like Licorice, so he often allowed himself to use that fact against people. Honing his comedic skills so that he could con people right under their noses. Seeing a chance to make money with Brood, he suggested they make their own crew, doing so beautifully.

She is rather small despite being a full-grown woman and it his smaller frame and smaller physical aspects that cause her to "mumble" a lot. She was born as Jerimiah Mason but legally changed her last name to Mumbles before she embarked on a life of crime on the high seas. She has bleach white hair but it is natural to her and she is not exactly the kind of person who is attractive. She is pale in the skin and her eyes are purple and deep. She has perfect dental health as well as being extremely fit. She is technically a fish-man and mermaid genetically, which is evident in her body.
NPC background: Due to her stature, facial expressions and general behavioral attitudes, Jeremiah was raised as a boy. When she was younger she was named after her eldest brother who died of a flu, despite her gender, and she was raised to take over the Family clinic at the behest of her father. Despite this fact she ended up in a tough crowd alongside Brood and was one of his closest friends during their time as criminals, eventually joining him when he formed his first pirate crew. After surviving a brutal assault from an horribly powerful assailant the female joined up with the new group led by Bach, noting that he had changed during their time away from one another. She has a french accent.

He often finds himself wearing what is considered the most expensive suits as well as having himself surprising skinny legs. He is very much so egg-shaped and likes to utilize his cane when fighting against foes. He is excessively rotund but it doesn't seem to be any hindrance on him physically. He is known for his exaggerated expression of happiness that is often seen on his face. It is not something he does intentionally but it is just the way that his face is shaped. He doesn't have anything special about him other than the fact that his top-hat is notoriously stylish, which made Brood get a bowler hat.
NPC background: Mama joined the crew after the incident with the North Star Pirates, allowing himself to serve a delicious meal on Minion Island using ingredients that were questionable at best. His ultimate goal in life, ever since his youth, was to experiment with exotic ingredients to create delicious foods. His violent nature came from being forced to eat dirt as a child and the trauma of the event, onset by those who bullied him, made him prone to outbursts of intense aggression. He is a whiz in the kitchen and doesn't mind carving up people if it means they'll add a nice decoration to his meals. He is an old and grump man, but he never stops smiling and he is seen always laughing.

NPC appearance: This multicolored youth is the current youngest member of the crew and is known for his incredible marksmanship. He doesn't exactly like to fight so his body is rather skinny and he has no defined muscles on his body. He seems to be rather attractive as he looks like quite feminine at certain angles and he also seems to be rather well built. Regardless of his physical form he is the only member of the crew who is important who does not wear a suit underneath his coat. Opting to instead wear tights and a ruffled shirt similar to many fencers in plays. He is rather flashy and wears numerous rings on his fingers and jewelry on his face.
NPC background: Conroy was the original owner of the Big Time and therefore an important member of the crew itself. Also born on Lvneel, he was a spice smuggler whose crew was captured and imprisoned in the dungeons of Lvneel three months prior to Broods arrival. Striking up a deal with Brood, he was able to rescue his crew in exchange for their ship, but when they turned on him after discovering his blunder of a trade Brood slew his crew and took Conroy on as a member of the group. Fleeing the island, Conroy found himself dedicating himself to not making bad deals like that again and became the primary negotiator for the crew, improving his skills of negotiation a great deal.

Wed Jul 19, 2017 7:02 pmI've added a small rule to the NPCs template where NPC levels and stats can only be updated every time a player enters a new tier (which I hope is a sensible alteration). As such, I'm unlocking your thread so you might be able to change your NPCs accordingly. All the level 28 NPCs will now be level 20, and all level 13 NPCs will now be level 10 and have stat totals pertaining those levels. Apologies for the extra work~
Also, don't forget, you still have room for two more level 10 NPCs if you have the muse to add more.

Due to this, Desmond was made the shipwright of the crew pretty early on after joining and has remained so ever since. He is currently trying to upgrade the ship.

NPC appearance: Mama is a portly fellow with a magnificent beard and a rather fashionable dress sense. He often finds himself wearing what is considered the most expensive suits as well as having himself surprising skinny legs. He is very much so egg-shaped and likes to utilize his cane when fighting against foes. He is excessively rotund but it doesn't seem to be any hindrance on him physically. He is known for his exaggerated expression of happiness that is often seen on his face. It is not something he does intentionally but it is just the way that his face is shaped. He doesn't have anything special about him other than the fact that his top-hat is notoriously stylish, which made Brood get a bowler hat.
NPC background: Mama joined the crew after the incident with the North Star Pirates, allowing himself to serve a delicious meal on Minion Island using ingredients that were questionable at best. His ultimate goal in life, ever since his youth, was to experiment with exotic ingredients to create delicious foods. His violent nature came from being forced to eat dirt as a child and the trauma of the event, onset by those who bullied him, made him prone to outbursts of intense aggression. He is a whiz in the kitchen and doesn't mind carving up people if it means they'll add a nice decoration to his meals. He is an old and grump man, but he never stops smiling and he is seen always laughing.

NPC appearance: This multicolored youth is the current youngest member of the crew and is known for his incredible marksmanship. He doesn't exactly like to fight so his body is rather skinny and he has no defined muscles on his body. He seems to be rather attractive as he looks like quite feminine at certain angles and he also seems to be rather well built. Regardless of his physical form he is the only member of the crew who is important who does not wear a suit underneath his coat. Opting to instead wear tights and a ruffled shirt similar to many fencers in plays. He is rather flashy and wears numerous rings on his fingers and jewelry on his face.
NPC background: Conroy was the original owner of the Big Time and therefore an important member of the crew itself. Also born on Lvneel, he was a spice smuggler whose crew was captured and imprisoned in the dungeons of Lvneel three months prior to Broods arrival. Striking up a deal with Brood, he was able to rescue his crew in exchange for their ship, but when they turned on him after discovering his blunder of a trade Brood slew his crew and took Conroy on as a member of the group. Fleeing the island, Conroy found himself dedicating himself to not making bad deals like that again and became the primary negotiator for the crew, improving his skills of negotiation a great deal.

NPC appearance: She is a female fishman with blue scales who wears a wide variety of jewels and charms around her body. She utilizes a clothing style akin to real life belly-dancers, wearing flowing gowns that are nearly translucent. Her modesty comes from specific areas of her body being covered by golden adornments, such as a bra-like implementation that covers the curves of her chest and another golden-skirt like fixture that hugs her hips tightly. She often wears this dress no matter the occasion, as she only ever takes it off when she absolutely needs too. The dress appears to be something of a sundress and she does wear marble-white heels on her feet. Her fishman features are strong but she has a very clearly defined human-like appearance. This is due to the fact that her skin in youth was very malleable. She wears a veil over her mouth often.
NPC background: The daughter of a pair of pirates, one who was a Crowntail Betta Fishman and another that was a Hagfish Fishman, as a result, she was born with a mixture of their physical traits. She didn't grow up with her parents, as they abandoned her in a town called Notice, located in the North Blue. When the crew was passing by, they managed to come across the group and allowed themselves to stop on the relatively boring island, they found that one noteworthy place of notice was a tavern rumored to be ran by a blue female. At this alehouse the female found herself enjoying the presences of these admittedly dangerous individuals, bored of her life in the tavern, and promised that she could brew strong drinks for the crew if they took her along with them. Knowing that his crew enjoyed carousing, he easily picked up the female.

NPC appearance: As an avid practitioner of okama kenpo, "Prince" has taken a look of one who practices the artform. Usually dressing in a manner that is often considered to be colorful and elegant, the male knows how to make gaudy sensible. Due to his self-styled royal nature, he often allows himself to wear clothing not suited for a battlefield, mostly due to the fact that he does not often see battle. He usually wears robes that cover up his muscular physique and he likes to wear bright colors such as yellow, lime green and cyan. He wears extremely fancy shoes as well. His hair is a deep purple and is naturally curly, flowing behind his back. He has large, almost unnatural looking, lips that adorn his face. He wears a lot of powder on his face as well as an assortment of make-up.
NPC background: Sorbet is the self-styled prince of Swallow Island, a island that was not known for being inhabited with enough people to constitute a kingdom. He met the crew during their passing of the island and, much to the dismay of Brood, found himself stowing away the ship claiming to have sailed the entire world. It was clear to Brood that the man was deranged, but decided to keep the male aboard his ship when he witnessed the male smash a marine's face in and leaving said marine a crumpled heap. In truth, Sorbet, whose real name is unknown, is an escaped convict. One who suffered brain damage during their stint in jail and began to act in an exaggerated manner, deluded into believing that they were somehow royalty. He views himself as captain and openly acts like he is, which the crew often ignores. He comes from Paradise.
