Oak Style
Fighting Style: Oak Style
Weapon Utilization: Twin Hammers, Modified Pistols
Description: The Oak Style is one of the 3 great fighting styles created on Sparrow Island. Oak Style focuses on hammer weapons, simple movements, blunt force power and overwhelming force. It is designed to keep the opponent on the back foot, wear down their defenses and deliver a fatal blow. In terms of defense the style offers techniques to deflect attacks as well as overcome them with equal force. For range the user can use the hammers to strike stone and other objects, propelling them toward a target.
On top of that John has used his medical and botanical knowledge to create a series of natural drugs that boost the body in different ways in order to get the best out of himself or allies. While the attacks of Oak Style can cause serious harm, John refuses to apply his knowledge to such things as poisons.
Toggled and Passive Abilities:
Leaf Stance: This stance of Oak Style sacrifices it's defensive, rigid movements to allow for quicker, more agile motions. The result is a faster version of Oak Style that priotizes speed over safety(+20% RX, -20% DEF)
Root Stance: This stance of Oak Style is it's ultimate defensive form. In this stance the user focuses on protecting their body but sacrifice reach and power as a result. (+20% DEF, -20% ATK)

- Light Techniques:
Hammer Shot
Type: Flat
Cooldown: 2
Flavour: John spins his hammer and uses the added momentum to strike objects towards his opponent. Alternatively he may just throw his hammer instead.
Bone Crusher
Type: DOT Hybrid
Cooldown: 6
Duration: 2
Debuffs: 10% WP
Flavour: John strikes his target with his hammer at a precise point in the body to temporarily debilitate them.
Blood Stimulant
Type: Heal
Cooldown: 4
Flavour: A modified bullet the causes the target's blood to harden and clot, closing up minor wounds.
Second Wind
Type: HOT
Cooldown: 4
Duration: 5
Flavour: A modified bullet that boosts the body's natural healing process, providing a minor healing boost to the target
- Medium Techniques:
Iron Crusher
Type: Flat
Cooldown: 4
Flavour: John spins his hammer at top speed into a lateral strike on a target
Vitality Shot
Type: HOT
Cooldown: 6
Duration: 5
Flavour: A modified bullet that boosts the body's natural healing process, providing a minor healing boost to the target, actively closing up minor wounds and healing larger ones.
- Heavy Techniques:
Multi-Cruser
Type: Flat
Cooldown: 6
Flavour: John uses both hammers to land multiple attacks on a target or group of targets in a single instant.
Adrenaline Shot
Type: Stat Morph
Cooldown: 12
Duration: 4
Buffs: 75% RX
Flavour: This modified bullet increases both the bodies ability to create adrenaline and it's receptiveness to that adrenaline. The result is a massive boost to the speed, reflexes and reaction times.
Barkskin Shot
Type: Stat Morph
Cooldown: 12
Duration: 4
Buffs: 50% ATK, 25% RX
Flavour: This modified bullet increases the bodie's muscle mass while also hardening the muscles of the targe. The resulting increase gives the increased speed and power and an almost bark-like consistency to the touch.
- AoE Techniques:
Shockwave
Type: Flat
Cooldown: 8
Flavour: John slams his hammers together causing a massive shockwave that damages all in its path
Wave Cance
Type: Canceller
Cooldown: 8
Flavour: A variation of his shockwave, this time John strikes his hammers in the moment of impact with an attack, harmlessly dispersing the energy and cancelling out both the attack and the shockwave.

I think you may regret the lack of Flats early on. After your first quest, if you want to revise your techniques, you can ask to have your fighting style.
