[Crew] The Guardian Knights

Name: Celia Stanson
Species/Tribe: Human
Personality: Highly intelligent and a bit of a workoholic, Celia takes her position as Anton's second in command very seriously. She's more of a beaurocrat than a soldier, often preferring to be doing paperwork behind a desk rather than being out in the field. That being said, she is very capable in combat, especially with her derringers, though she has a good enough head on her shoulders to back off when she knows she's out of her depth. She will, of course, be willing to jump in to save any of her compatriots, even in dire situations.

While stern, she does try to be fair to those under her command. She's just aware that a crew like this needs someone to keep things in order and that's her. She does have a bit of a temper, with disrespect and stupidity being two of her biggest triggers. This leads her to chewing out those who incur her wrath at best, or her pulling one of her derringers on them at worst (and this even includes Anton). She has a tendency to drink whenever she's particularly stressed, often resulting in some goofy hijinx that she very much regrets when she sobers up (and firmly expects nobody to talk about it).

Celia is very loyal to Anton, being with him the longest out of anyone in the crew. Their relationship could almost be considered like brother and sister, willing to confide in eachother and be completely honest with eachother. Though she is unafraid to speak her mind when she feels he's doing something wrong, she's supportive of him, and knows that he's a good man trying to make the most of a situation.

She tends to use derringers in battle. A lot of them that she keeps beneath her cape.
History: Originating from Gecko Island, Celia had a fairly standard career as a marine when she was first starting out. She showed a strong affinity for firearms, though showed lacking when it came to close quarters combat. Though her skills at paperwork and more beaurocratic tasks allowed her to get by. This, combined with her preference to derringers, to which she carried multiple on her person, earned her the nickname "The Beaurocratic Armory".

She was assigned to Anton when the man was starting out his career as a marine, mainly to try and keep the man in line due to his tendencies to try and avoid work. Though initially very annoyed at him, as time went on she came to understand him better, trying to be supportive as well as stern to guide him through his fears. As Anton began climbing the ranks, Celia remained by his side, being placed as his second in command to assist him in leading the crew. Even when Anton started up the Pirate Rehabilitation Program, she continues to remain by his side, the pair of them becoming close to eachother like brother and sister.

Name: Julius Black
Species/Tribe: Human
Personality: Julius is a cool, collected, quick witted man. Dedicated to his job as the ship's chief medical officer, though is not afraid to throw a bit of snark when the timing calls for it. That being said, he's never outright malicious towards people and more does it in good fun, unless said target had REALLY gotten on his bad side. He has a slight flair for the dramatic and can be a bit eccentric at times, but has proven to be a damn good doctor. Julius can be downright charming at times, but tries to hide it behind a morbid sense of humor. He's aware how his looks and charm can be a bit distracting and tries to hide it, only letting his guard down around those he's particularly trusting too.

While he's not much of a combatant, he tends to utilize knives in battle, along with his knowledge of anatomy.
History: Hailing from Mirrorball City, Julius joined the marines to become a part of its medical sector, and initial training showed him to be quite a competant student and a quick study. However, there was a quick problem that Julius soon discovered. His natural charm and good looks proved to be a bit...distracting, amongst the female students. In order to combat this, Julius adopted some of his more eccentric mannarisms, a more morbid sense of humor, and began wearing a plague doctor mask to try and turn off any potential admirers. His instructors tolerated this strange behaviour, due to his growing skills.

However, this did have some consequences, mainly him being assigned to the recently promoted Anton as the ship's doctor. Despite his strange mannerisms, Julius actually managed to fit in just fine with the small group of misfits, finding himself a core member of Anton's inner circle. As Anton climbed in the ranks and the crew expanded, Julius soon found himself not only as the ship's doctor, but the chief medical officer of the crew, leading a team of his own. After Anton established the Pirate Rehabilitation Program, Julius has marshalled the former pirate doctors underneath his leadership.

Name: Melanie Adder
Species/Tribe: Kuja
Personality: A coy woman who doesn't seem to take anything seriously. Hardly anything seems to ruffle this woman, often deriving amusement from normally stressful situations, and more than willing to tease and flirt with others around her. She'll gladly speak her mind and consequences be damned. She also has a tendancy to be out of uniform, instead often wearing elegant and elaborate dresses. Despite her insubordinate tendencies, she is a highly competant navigator, and knows when the situation calls for her to get serious. She's also a proud Kuja warrior, and will not abide anyone insulting her people.

As a Kuja, she shares her people's definition of beauty (aka, the beauty in strength) and has no qualms in letting people know how beautiful they are to her. Infact her entire goal is to find herself a husband, and often looks at any new faces as potential candidates, though she has yet to find her ideal match. Yet she has made it clear that even if she accomplishes this admittedly selfish goal, her duty and loyalty to Anton and the crew comes first.

She is highly knowledgeable of Haki, again due to her upbringing amongst the Kuja. She wields a naginata in battle.
History: Melanie was always curious about the world outside of Amazon Lily, particularly about that curious race of humanity known only as the male gender. She knew many Kuja who left the island came back pregnant, and some even remained and took husbands. Melanie resolved to do the same, and thus when she was old enough left Amazon Lily to explore the world, in search of a man to call her husband. Her search would eventually take her to the marines. After all, the marines held some very beautiful (ie strong) men. Surely one of them would make a fine husband for her.

Her induction into the marines came with some problems. Her flippant and insubordinate attitude rubbed a lot of her superiors the wrong way, with only her skill in navigation and combat capabilities keeping her from washing out. She was bounced from one assignment to another, before being put under Anton's command. Surprisingly enough, she found herself fitting in with the unusual crew, mainly because they put up with her antics. Opinions of her amongst the crew are varied, with some seeing her as an exotic beauty, while others see her as a teasing bitch (granted, the latter are from those she has specifically rejected). Overall, she feels her prospects of finding the ideal man for her are very high here.
